Front Headlock Escape: Recovering After Failed Takedown

A very common, but dangerous position in MMA and wrestling is the front headlock. This position usually happens after a failed takedown attempt or from a snap-down. Coach Bubba Jenkins shares a drill to help recover from this position and get back into the fight.

Well most TKD gyms train bare foot, so no shoes for that. For wrestling or boxing though, I’d say any kind of shoes that go high enough to maintain your ankle well and are quite durable will be good.
