Ok, I been saying this for awhile, but why have all the companies put hallways from the bedroom to the living room. That is total wasted space. You could put a bigger shower in the bathroom. The washer dryer could be a stackable washer dryer in the bathroom. instead of hallway, walk thru the bathroom. Make the bathroom bigger. and more storage.

Yea on getting rid of the floor events! Please think about adding the washer/dryer to the bathroom slide. The noise and heat generated in the bedroom is a deal breaker.

Check out her other video of me taking the Jay Feather Micro 166FBS out in a snowstorm! The Jay Feather isn’t as well insulated as this Eagle HT, and it performed great! The one thing I noticed that had me question the four seasons aspect from the video, is the outdoor shower hookup(door) didn't look insulated. Looked like a thin piece of plastic. @@danielcouturier6037 There is a shut off valve for the outside shower and I would winterize that before taking it out in the winter! There are some other precautions I would take as well if it’s going to be 0° or below for an extended period of time… Skirting, tank blankets, heated hoses, etc. - Jon @ Apache

Great walk though - thank you! I've been waiting to see what's new with Jayco Eagles for 2025 - I'll be watching for new vids. One question - do the 2025 modelsl have solid surface countertops / hardwood cabinets?

@@DanielRose2020 Thanks for watching! In order to keep the weight down on the Eagle HT models, we use a formica countertop. That saves a few hundred pounds out of the units. The cabinet faces are solid wood painted to fit the farmhouse interior. However, the cabinet body is lumber-core. I hope this helps! - Jon @ Apache

@@paulb305 Can you better describe what you consider to be extreme? They are extremely well insulated! However, like every camper if you have it at 0° weather for an extended period of time there are things you need to do to prepare the camper to not have issues with freezing up. - Jon @ Apache

@@paulb305 Ok perfect! I would highly recommend skirting, pumping heat under the skirting and a heated insulted outdoor hose for the extreme temps! That way you have nothing to worry about. Any sales person that tells you their unit will be totally fine in 0° weather with windchill is telling you what you want to hear and not being totally honest in my humble opinion. 😬 - Jon @ Apache

Very nice RV, however, so many RV designers seem to ignore what I truly view as a design flaw. I am not alone in shying away from RV's where the TOILET IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEDROOM. Nobody wants the bathroom sounds and smells of their wife or husband literally four feet away while they're relaxing in bed, or trying to sleep or take a nap.

@@BC-li6zc Outstanding question and I should talk about this more in our videos, but I don’t necessarily want it to sound like I’m insulting other products out there. It isn’t necessary to use Azdel when you are manufacturing vacuum bonded walls. It’s a way for other manufacturers to claim their walls are waterproof because they use cheaper pinch rolled walls, rather than investing the resources to create a much stronger, watertight and durable vacuum bonded wall. - Jon @ Apache
