@vlado.6ix Жыл бұрын
Wow, what a coincidence I found when I saw that you can hold 14" of FL, my record is the same at the moment. Hope to get it back to 18" abd then 20"+ for making progress in FLPU 💪

awesome video dude, just what I was looking for, will give this routine a try

Awesome video, thanks, I am exactly at the point where I can hold for a short time but need to work on hold durations. Btw for timing it's the best to use a metronome set at 1 beat/second. This way it's possible to count accurately

Really appreciated the knowledges that you gave bro, couldn't express how much gratitude i have for your videos and I'm really excited to apply them to my future workouts. 💪🔥 - I have one question - Can I applied this same method with improving Front Lever pull ups? For instance, doing half of my max reps for 4-5 sets in the beginning of the workout, and then do it again with bands and some other supplementary exercises. - If not possible, really hope that you will share some other method for training stronger skills variations such as moving on to the Full Planche push ups or Front Lever pull ups once you have mastered the hold. Hope im not asking too much but i do really appreciated the work that you put into your videos. Thank you ❤

Yes, as long as you train with some reps in reserve for most of the time and overload, you'll be good! Thanks for the support 🤝

Basically, to get better at the front lever, do more front lever holds. Got it.

pretty straightforward hahaha

Do you think it's possible to do the same to increase planche hold ?
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech Жыл бұрын
Yes if you focus mostly on the negatives as foundation. It will increase your planche progression. It's a bit harder because to incorporate the same technique. You would need to do HS to planche. The lowering to planche process is the same as negative front pulls. This is why planche should be trained after handstand.

so if i can hold FL for 5 seconds, should i do 2,5s hold and then 1,5’ rest? It is too much rest, isnt it? Thanks man❤
@jalilnazarli13 Жыл бұрын
This is exactly what I needed. I've been stuck at 10 seconds for a while now, and didn't know exactly what to do. Thank you Saša for sharing this. By the way, I've been doing weighted pull-ups for like one month and I can tell they help a lot with retraction. I think just by doing weighted pull-ups you can improve your front lever by a mile. Any thoughts on that?
@SasaVenos Жыл бұрын
Yep, weighted pullups are amazing for front lever and getting strong asf in general, no problem man, thanks for support.

There is no need to push yourself to the point of bad form, do you volume with all "acceptable" form

Hey thankyou for the video when I am really fresh I can do 8sec clean but I can’t do clean presses you have any tips for that? When I perform a press it’s look like I am doing a weird lsit and then pushing the hips up. But I can do clean dragon flags etc
@SasaVenos Жыл бұрын
Just start doing sets of 1 presses and with bands and it'll quickly catch up to your hold. 8" is a good base ngl
@barBarrios Жыл бұрын
@@SasaVenos ive been doing that for quite some time and yeah I only hold 8sec at a really good day 9/10 times I am around 5/6seconds but I took me more then a year to learn the full fl and i am still training it to learn combos with it and other variations ass well. But I’ve practiced it with a band light and heavy band then I can perform it good but ass soon I remove the band they look really shit ..

Nah bro, I'm 179cm/70kg and already can hold 5 seconds of FL, training it specifically for ~2-3 months. Now trying to improve it to 10 seconds. Yes it's generally more challenging the taller you are, but everything is possible.
