Sounds good but the actual "root" for planche lets say is not a dip or a pushups but rather a planche lean. However if I was to start cali from 0 I would definitely become strong at basics first

@WalterWhiteScooterScooter4 күн бұрын
Im not him but if it works,then its for u👍
@SasaVenos3 күн бұрын
Dont get the question, is it good or bad? I dont think its the best way but it can work, there are many methods but only a few principles. If you respect the principles you can play around with the method.
@steverevah25133 күн бұрын
@ What I ment is - is this method effective in your opinion, because I see alot of programs from people like Haristov that focus mainly on 1 skill (front, planche etc) 3 times a week , a full on training program. So I wonder if it’s a good idea to focus on 1 skill every time.
@SasaVenos3 күн бұрын
@@steverevah2513not necessary. You can progress well at multiple skills if you know how to program. Though i gotta say only 1 skill to work on definitely makes the job a lot easier!

you ARE the BEST calisthenics channel bro I appreciate your talking head down to earth style video SOOO much. helps you understand and cut thru all the bullshit jargon online, I cannot say how much I love this channel bro. I need programming advice, I'm now approaching end of year 2 of calisthenics, I unlocked muscle up month 5, front lever 5s hold month 11, flpu month 16 (I have 1-2 reps now), and that's it. Zero HSPU or planche progress, I think I'm training wrong, so I took some time to build more muscle - 182cm, 76kg, 16%bf, by doing a weighted cali routine at the moment. How can I keep progressing thru my on year plataue? I feel a bit stuck, I wanna build more muscle but yeah haven't done much of that this year either :/
@SasaVenos4 күн бұрын
Thanks for support! You are probably more gifted for pull, but it doesnt mean you can't upgrade your push. I dont know you in person and your specific circumstances so I can't give you accurate advice. I would say however that you need to eat more (mandatory), keep training planche and also include some hypertrophy exercises for front delts and train them pretty hard

Man really good video, the best advice I would say was being specific. Although its going to be hard, when I was specific I flew past my planche push ups and press (basically all I focused on), but now I train rings with it. I would say I should focus mostly in the next 2 weeks on planche presses and cross+maltese, but tbh for cross I need to train variations like nakayama and press and have random attempts for fun. I know its not what you said in the video but I feel its pretty good as I dont really train pull.

Hey bro, first of all really love your videos. I am currently training for the front lever and my routine looks like this: 1. 4 - 5 sets of FL hold (currently 1 leg variation, aiming to get to 30'' hold time in total per workout) 2. 3 sets of adv tuck FL pull ups 3. 3 sets of high pull ups (since my 2nd priority is to make my muscle ups cleaner) 4. 3 sets of weighted pull ups/chin ups in the 6-8 rep range Do you think this is enough volume for the Front Lever? And do I need to incorporate some FL raise variations? p.s. forgot to say i do this pull workout twice a week
@lewisgordon1490Ай бұрын
Instead of weighted pull ups, you can do explosive pull ups eg clap pull-ups, pu to chest, or pu to waist.
