Your video was super useful. Like the individual said before me, It was awesome seeing what worked and what didn't. More videos should be made like this. Thanks again.

I'm about to do the same job with this same kit. I noticed you ended up using the impact. I've seen other vids of people doing the same and a few where people only needed hand tools, making it look like the bearing slid in with no prob. If you don't mind, what year vehicle did you do this on and has it been driven in a snow/salt (ie: rust) area? Thanks.

I did it on a 2011 honda crv and as far as I know it's whole life has been in Northwest Pennsylvania so what 12 ish winters of salty roads and the only problem I had with rust was the snap ring was very rusted in. I switched to the impact because I couldn't hold the knuckle and turn it but if the knuckle was on the crv I feel like I could have done the full job with hand tools.

@@natesworld814 Nice. I'm in a similar boat with a 2010 honda insight where the rotors were so rusted on, even the two threaded press holes ended up stripping out (on the rotor). I still have to pull the hubs off and yeah, I'm dreading seeing what the snap rings are going to look like. Did you end up just hammering around it with a set/punch to loosen it?

For the hub you might what to try an air hammer. We didn't do it on this one but if I do it again I probably will try it to see if I can save my self from fighting with my press. For the snap ring we did end up putting a punch in the snap ring hole but it took several sprays of pb blaster many trips beating around the ring with the punch and we broke one of the ring tabs off before it finally gave up and came out. Definitely hope I never have to do that hub again though because I couldn't find a new snap ring so I had to put this one back in it.

@@natesworld814 Yeah I was originally hoping to just swap out the whole knuckles for new loaded ones, to avoid the headache. They seemed pretty reasonably priced online. Until I realized it wasn't for my particular model and that nothing was available anywhere for mine. Thanks for the replies and info!
