Where did you learn that... I've read a book about him and I think he was actually about 24 or so when he wrote this.

Bem, pelo que ele já falou em entrevistas, essa música foi composta quando ele terminou um relacionamento com uma mulher mais velha. Se ele realmente tinha 17 anos quando compôs, essa mulher é uma criminosa...

Someone here said that he was so good it hurts and that absolutely sums it up. A talent like this only comes around once or twice in a generation. He was a great gift and a great loss all at the same time.

the mid 90's were hella fun!!! life is cruel, it allows you to be part of an amazing era, then quickly puts you into the review mirror, as the one you look into starts showing grey hairs and wrinkles...

You hear the influences of the likes of Plant, Morrissey and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in his vocal styling but he surpasses them in every way. Like Nusrat his songs have a Sufi influence starting slowly and then building to a crescendo and Grace shows it so well. His voice being so good it is ridiculous would be enough for most, however his lyrics are like romantic poetry. We then come to his guitar playing which is at another level. Page and Plant went to see him in NYC and were amazed with one of them saying he was like the two of them joined together😀 I know it’s shallow but the man was beautiful as well as being blessed with so much talent, for that to be taken from us so early was one of the most cruelest acts ever.😢

I just said my last goodbye to my GF who took her own life on Sunday. I was able to break the garage door down, once I realised what she had done. She had a faint pulse, so we prayed for a miracle. But I was about 8 mins too late & her brain was starved of oxygen for to long, she will pass away in the next few hours. I will miss her everything. I love you so much Loren Agnew. R.I.P now my babe xx

Jeff Buckley 1865º Letras Álbuns Fotos Relacionados Popularidade Notícias Original Tradução Last Goodbye Jeff Buckley So Real: Songs from Jeff Buckley This is our last goodbye I hate to feel the love between us die But it's over Just hear this and then i'll go You gave me more to live for More than you'll ever know This is our last embrace Must I dream and always see your face Why can't we overcome this wall Well, maybe it's just because i didn't know you at all Kiss me, please kiss me But kiss me out of desire, babe, and not consolation You know it makes me so angry 'cause i know that in time I'll only make you cry, this is our last goodbye Did you say 'no, this can't happen to me,' And did you rush to the phone to call Was there a voice unkind in the back of your mind Saying maybe you didn't know him at all You didn't know him at all, oh, you didn't know Well, the bells out in the church tower chime Burning clues into this heart of mine Thinking so hard on her soft eyes and the memories Offer signs that it's over... it's over

Probably a minority opinion, but I feel like he totally butchered this song with his random vocal flailing in all directions. Having a great voice is one thing, but having the maturity to use it in a disciplined fashion is another.
@peternoble36918 ай бұрын
I was a big fan growing up, but not keen on all the singing voices he used. Always thought it was a carry over from the coffee shop days when he’d be singing covers in all different styles, and that’s what people expected of him

If you learn his music on guitar you see the similarities between the greats and himself Led zeppelin steely Dan to name two managed to write incredibly complex chord progressions with delightful melodies fitted which then have lyrics that can not only teach you things but take you on a journey with a theme It’s truly why it’s called art
