Because fans used this song to tell country music stations in Nashville to shove it up where sun don't shine. Country music stations in Nashville wanting nothing to do with Carrie. Station wanted her 20 million fanbase but no Carrie. Fans said no Carrie, no fans. When this song exploded on the charts at no. 1radio stations had no choice to play it.
