Great guide dude, I need to work on spreading my chains more to peel pressure. Would love to see a class by class counter guide! Couple of Qs; 1) do you use arena 1/2/3 macros for grip / chains / mf / dark sim? Would you recommend if someone has the bind space/coordination to pull it off? 2) Would you consider making a guide on a class by class Dark sim instructional video on which abilities are simmable for each class, which abilities we should be looking to sim from our targets and when to use them? An obvious example i can think of is cyclone for druids or poly for mages, stealing that and insta ccing the healer or peeling pressure on dps. Would be cool to see some clutch dark sim plays in action.

yes! sometimes it can be good to even try to use them separately, it is not too important at the lower ratings but chill streak can definitely be used without pillar and i would say its better to use it without the pillar sometimes. its completely fine to pair them together tho, as long as ur saving some damage for later and not popping all ur cds at once.

Loved this video, I just have one question: what do you do in 2s against MM/BM Hunters? They are such a bad matchup for me. I am usually playing with a holy paladin. It just feels like you can't interrupt their goes as effectively as against other ranged classes.. focusing them feels pointless. Should I try to kill the healer in this scenario? Should I try to kill the BM hunter pets? I think I have like 30% win ratio against hunters, lol. Permaslowing them seems pretty useless as well, they can just kite me for days even though my paladin is feeding me freedoms and I am playing Wraith walk. Any tips would be appreciated.

everytime I've beaten a hunter team in 2s recently it was by killing the pet, if its BM identify the pet that has 120 focus (the real pet) and when u do chill streak blind setups, target the 2 pets with chill streak and dump some burst into it, if u kill it usually hunters will trade turtle to revive it. Then the hunter becomes a lot easier to kill, or u can kill his pet again and train him so he cant revive it and then u will auto win the match eventually bc they do no dam without pet, same for survival but if its marksman dont go too out of ur way to kill the pet bc they still are useful without it. Hunters are a very hard matchup so no shame in losing vs them, especially hunter priest. also if ur not gonna be killing pets I think ur better off killing healer instead of hunter. But against rdruid hunter u dont have a choice to hit the healer. But yeah I think ur best win condition is to kill the pet

@@t0ntsa no problem bro, a 2 stack chill streak on both the pets will nuke them, but u have to kill the main one because the off pet will keep respawning constantly. Also the hunter can use exhilaration to fully heal the pet every like 2 minutes I think so watch for that too

Just wondering which runeforge do you think is better for pvp? FC or Razorice? Like surely razorize is good or bigger oblits but the extra 15 percent strength and 2.5k heal each proc is better than the extra 1k for each obliterate? Idk

They're both fine but razorice is a bit better these days. FC is nerfed in pvp, it's still pretty good but only better than razorice when u take glacial advance talent, which is a good build but feels a little clunky in pvp and takes more micromanaging when keeping the stacks up

gotta remember that the razorice stacks affect chill streak too, so does FC but u would have to be lucky for it to proc when u have an opportunity to use chill streak

Just a huge tip Ive learned from playing. We all know as DKs that monks suck for us. If you use the dead of winter talent when they use xuen/SEF it always stuns since they are trying to stay on top of you. Then when they trinket it just grip/blind and keep him cc'd while xuen runs out. Completely destroys their go while making it your own and is a nice niche Ive found for DoW.

that is definitely a great usage of dead of winter and I agree the talent can be pretty useful although that's usually how I use blind and draco. it is true tho if u dont waste the remorseless winter randomly u can have an extra way to peel once in between ur 1.5 min CD setup with blind and draco. I think really the main issue with the dead of winter pvp talent is that it takes up a slot which u could be using delirium instead which is very very good into windwalkers. Tho there have been times again full physical dmg teams like turbo cleave and junglecleave in 3s where I've found opportunities to take the talent. it is very niche and normally it's way easier to use some of the other options but that does not mean it's useless!

Boomy, Ele, Mages, Warlocks, S Priests are all Wizards in WoW terminology anyway. You have 2 choices Melee cleave or wizard cleave. I guess wizard cleave sounds more fun than caster cleave.
