Hi Bruce.. interesting video thx. I'm interested to know if this shampoo will degrade carnauba wax because it has a higher pH level. Looks great on your ride

Thanks for watching! I think if you wash with this snow foam regularly (weekly) it may degrade the wax after many weeks, but it’s still fairly gentle given the pH is 9.8 (7ish is neutral). Maybe if you wash with this every other or when the vehicle tends to be dirtier than what a pH neutral soap would address. You could also snow foam it and then use a pH neutral contact wash. I did both contact and snow foam using Frostbite, but I also have the car ceramic coated and I wasn’t worried about it impacting the coating.

I like Koch Chemie Gentle Snow Foam (GSF). It’s pH neutral, foams great, solid lubrication, and smells good.
