Frostpunk 2 - Things Really Start to Snowball in Chapter 1

Frostpunk 2 is coming out on 20th September 2024, and I'm playing it! This time I'm doing Chapter 1 with Order as my main choice (as opposed to Faith). If you're unfamiliar with Frostpunk, it's a post-apocalyptic survival city-builder, set in a world that turned into a frozen wasteland.

So, if I understand this correctly: if your scores are high enough, and assuming you are willing to further repair them afterwards, you can grab a team of large goons, rob a faction blind, then tell them "alright, now make a wish and I'll make it come true" (grant an agenda).

Yeah, pretty much. Some bonuses/penalties are bigger than others, obviously. So it's not necessarily 1:1.

Once you figure out the economy and relations, this game is surprisingly easier than the first. On the faith route you can maintain max trust and gold relations from chapter 2. Its a lot of prioritising and choosing your direction. Factions are a big deal, spam their unique interactions, theres no real penalty. Not sure how to do a deathless run though. Seems too easy to have people die from events. Hope you enjoy it as much as i have dude.
