Hi, just one small update, piggy tail fuse should point "UP" to the sky, not the the ground, one of the guys sent me explanation, you will not backup original circuit. Its super easy to install, and no big risks. good luck.

I fitted one to my UK spec Qashqai J11 but the fusebox is hidden behind the glovebox and not behind the dash panel as yours is and it's also upside down compared to your model. The fuses are the micro type in the Qashqai so you have to get a mini 5 amp fuse to fit in the piggyback slot to replace the micro you take out. Also, next where the UK spec fusebox is located is a nice screw which mounts the dash onto the body which is a great earth point as well!

I've had mine wired for a good while now but upgraded my dash cam to a nextbase 522. I seem to lose battery quite quickly after ignition off and am thinking maybe I have earthed it wrong. Could you send me a pic of where it is? I know its a pain getting to but maybe you find a pic online and you can outline where you secured the earth. Oh also, what did you piggy back off? I remember I piggy backed off the mirrors I think

I used same fuse one, but if i put on engine stop/start feature, camera restarts when engine starts.

Hi, thanks for all your videos. I would like to disassemble the headliner because there is a metallic noise coming from the back of the roof when driving on a bad road. Is it hard to do ?Could you make a video on this ? Anyway, great videos.

thanks for appreciation, will try to do some more similar videos if i will be able to and find the way. for headliner - its not good idea to go this way, understand thay maybe you have some noise, guess from panorama roof - but since i dont have problem i really dont dare to touch it - headliner is very fragile and i guess that i would broke/ripp him. so i dont promise, maybe will do at some poitn.... :)

Hi, unfortunately its custom module by one of the guys in CZ/SK community, more complex, with "technical check" which can be turned on. Easy one DYI module is like this - www.ebay.com/itm/272040805896 + www.ebay.com/itm/131665919883 , and play with the cabling to SS button :)

But Duncho's SS module uses exactly the same 5A original fuse socket for powering on. Now with both SS module and dashcam where did you put the second piggy tail back fuse???

for use of SS module and camera - i used same one - 5A shown already ( top left corner ). later on i`ve connected as well my own created fog lights which have around 60~ wats, so 5amps is not enough ( 60~ wats for 5A ) which is quite risky to connect SS, Fog, Camera and still have original circuit. so i decided to put it to the "seat heater" fuse which is described on plastic cover, and have connected everything here. this circuit is with current (power) only with engine running.
