I get how you would think that, but for those who studied music or perform, frosty is a I IV V song with bridge that hits the typical 3 and 6 minor chords. I'm really not trying to sound pretentious. Imagine seeing a guy hold a ball. Once he starts to bounce it with his hand, and bounce it between his legs and throws it in the air, you know he's doing basketball. If he dropped the ball, and used his feet to kick it around and moved wit, he's doing soccer. You know enough to be able to join in and play along. This piano player knows that many songs are written in 1 4 5 form. Frosty the snow man is a simple song for anyone who plays music and understands that music has a form.
