Lol this book came out 6 years after The Wastelands. I can imagine how the fans felt when they waited for 6 years. Regardless i absolutely loved this volume of the dark tower books.

I actually own the same version or printing of it lol and the illustrations are kinda gnarly but I did like it because it is cool to look at for a bit and see all the little details

Many people say this is their favorite tower book; I don't understand why. I'm not saying it's a bad book, but the romance plot became redundant after a while. To each their own I guess.

This is the way I see it. If you're not into western romance novels, this book may not be to your liking for the most part. In fact it may feel like a giant detour from the main story. However, if you enjoy intricate storylines and great narratives and memorable characters, then this is a great book.

Love this so cool how everything starts coming together the whole stand thing was cool interesting backstory for roland so cool they went to emerald city so cool man in black is flagg that was huge to me I heard I'd be surprised to find out who he really is I was like didn't he die at end of stand nope so cool this is one of my favorites just not a fan of the riddles bit took me a bit to get through that little too much but once the jokes the train crash I was like oh my god over and over again so fascinating
