This explore really brought home the feeling of a warm home with her sitting in her chair with her slippers on and surrounded by her healthy plants. Slowly she walks away not to return to her chair and the plants wither and die. The cobwebs are built and the house breaks down. It’s so beautiful to see the arc of life in these explores with you Adam!

I get it, the desire to steal a treasure but why must these "treasure hunters" destroy and ransack everything in the process instead of showing the respect as you do, Adam. It is sad to see the plants dead and dried up that were once taken care of with love.

I've always wanted to know why they have to just trash a place, break windows, knock he's in the wall, and dump stuff all over the bed the floor and everywhere. Just because a ace is abandoned and has not been lived in for a long time does not mean one has to tear heck out of it. 😢

Child, Grandchild…..nobody to come get things. 😢 No judgement in that. You never know another’s story. Their circumstances may not allow them to make the trip. Perhaps they did & got what they wanted. It could be anything. We certainly don’t know. Obviously they cared enough to send cards, etc. Looks like many years have passed. Thanks, Adam. Great explore.❤✌🏼💜

Up there in quality, atmosphere and fascinating finds, Adam! The two odd things hanging in the cupboard were folded hangers. They unfold each side to create a normal clothes hanger. What was moving about this explore was all those cards - so lovely to see how much the occupants were loved. After all that’s all that matters, right? Already looking forward to next week’s explore! 👍👍👍❤️❤️

Nice little house Adam. I didn't notice the lack of a bathroom until you said something. I can't imagine raising a family in this time without one. 😲 I can't imagine a house in the fifties with w/o one! I can't. I was a child of the fifties and everyone I knew had a full bathroom. Even the kids that lived in the country. Can you tell this is freaking me out! 😂😂😂😂 Have a great week. Stay safe and I'll see you next week. Looking forward to your trip with Dale! 🙏💗

Lovely explore Adam and you are so respectful . This house seems very basic with no bathroom! 😮. Loved it though , especially the wallpaper ! I Remember wallpaper like that . The overalls , she might have been a dinner lady , but in days gone by the women often wore these overalls to do their house work in to keep their clothes clean . Having said that I can also remember , shop assistants , hairdressers, cleaners ….. etc wearing them too. The ‘nightie’ is an under-slip these was worn by the ladies under their dresses. Half slips were used if the lady had a skirt on . The things in the wardrobe are actually clothes hangers that folded up when not in use !

I'm always amazed how these homes are left abandoned for years in America the banks or city or county take them over and set them up for auction sales and then folks in the real estate business usually buy them up and rehab them and back on the market they go. It doesn't seem to work that way in the UK. I'd love to understand what the laws are for the UK when it comes to homes and property. But as always love your videos so interesting wish I could see your country also it's a dream of mine to travel to the UK but alas I'm too poor to leave my patch of dirt in California
