A good day out and great vid. I’ve been fishing where you fish for nearly 50 years and you’re making me think and teaching me lots! Plann8ng my first SIB for 2025 after bigger boats. Love the sensible simplicity of your narrative - reminds me to just enjoy it! Stay safe.

That's some great dedication to your channel and fishing.. Braving the cold. Great to see your first Bass of the year.

Good advice to take your rods down going under the bridge. I USED to have a radar on my boat until I tried to get under on a 4.8 tide. Doh.

I have a 9ft Ugly stick, they're ROCK SOLID, great rod, not got the same finesse and a fancy carbon one, but they're virtually unbreakable !

Great action there. Do you use barbless hooks these days? I’ve not fished in ages and was wondering as to the correct way to fish. Thanks.
@obanonthewater779619 сағат бұрын
Barbless for freshwater and barbed for saltwater is usually my rule of thumb. I do try and switch trebles to singles when the hooks need changing
