Hey Dave, well I got my hands on an X18 radio and have started playing around with it. I have a few X8R's that I got a while back when I was messing with the TX16S. What's the advantages of updating the receiver. Appreciate yer info man. Keep rollin out good content my friend.

The X8R will only bind to the Tandem transmitters if they have v2.x or better. I’m honestly not 100% sure what the major differences are between v1.x and v2.x but I can tell you that they are not compatible with each other. So if you want to bind those X8R’s with the X18 you’ll need to do this update.
