The radio does have a 6 position switch, the center knob is the 6 position switch.

There is enough room in the battery bay to fit a second battery pack. You will have to do some minor changes but will end up with 10-12 hours of flight time.

Does the FROS have a 'servo balancer' feature built in?

I'm not sure on the fros, system, my X12s was second hand with opentx, with that, I can, just mix two channels, use end points, and servo centre to match. Easy.

Thanks for a great review. Sadly, doesn't look like this radio offers a 6 position switch. Too bad having to take a soldering iron to an otherwise acceptable radio.

Yeah, Matt misspoke on that point. He did mean that the battery can be swapped. You wouldn't want the radio powered on for that process.

AloftHobbies has 'em!!! AND they'll flash it too OpenTX for $30 too. It's where I got mine and its AWESOME...really! Much nicer than my Taranis QX7/ they're a GREAT company and their Customer Service is on point!!! Happy flying!
