I'm a stat at home mom who once in a while does like to put on makeup as look pretty but soooooo many makeup tutorials and makeup artists shame drugstore makeup and make you feel pressured to buy the over priced high end stuff. My hubby does well for himself but I ant justify spending $54 for an eyeshadow palette!!! Thank you for your frugal Friday videos showing us that there are beautiful products you can find at Walmart, Target, CVS, Wallgreens that will make us look just as pretty without having to remortgage the house!!! Can't wait to binge watch all of your videos!!! New subbie!!!!!! :)

Being a teen, I don't have much money to throw around to experiment with, and your Frugal Fridays make it SO easy to find things I'm looking for that are really close to high end! These videos give me such a sense of satisfaction, is that weird? I mean, I love my high end products but to be perfectly honest, when I buy something super expensive I then find myself almost saving it for "special occasions". On days where I know I will be around the house or not really seeing anyone important, I tend to reach for more drug store products and it's great to know that I don't have to sacrifice quality or the looks I'm fond of wearing for affordability. +Rachael Saavedra it depends how many you buy, they're cheap in comparison to sigma and Mac and definitely most high end brands, I love them but not the eyeshadows. They have exact dupes for Mac brushes most of the time

The Simple Micellar Water is almost ingredient for ingredient identical to Mac Fix +, except the caffeine, which does nothing for your skin anyway. I have just been refilling my Fix + bottle with Simple for about six months now. You get twice as much for about 1/4th the price.

no prob! I'm trying out one from Lumiene next, got at Rite Aid for $9.99, so a little more than the Simple water, but a similar Glycerine based water. However I saw the Lumiene has some Hyaluronic Acid so I want to see if it's good.

I just wanted to tell you these dupe videos have been extremely helpful to me, and that I've gone to some of the products you've suggested; I just bought a Milani liquid eyeliner, and it is absolutely perfect. I just want to add that if you've never done/are planning to do a dupe for lip glosses, Loreal's Infallible 8 Hr Lip gloss in Sunset is almost an exact copy of NARS Orgasm lip gloss- the NARS is just a hint more orange/peach. I own Mac Soar lip liner and Essence Satin Mauve and when I swatch them Satin Mauve is noticeably cooler, more purple than Soar so they are close but I wouldn't call them dupes. BUT I found another affordable lip liner that's a dead on dupe of Soar - it's Jordana Easyliner for lips in Tawny :)

I don't have Tarte's Exposed because when I wanted to buy it, they were out in Sephora but I ended up buying another dupe in Sephora called Shame On You by Sephora. It may lean a little towards high end, but it is so similar to Exposed. I think it's awesome that there's a drugstore dupe for it and carries a whole lot more!

Jordana matte lipsticks are amazing and they deserve more hype! I bought two just to test them and wasn't so sure that I'll like them because they were so cheap. I ended up loving them!! They are as matte as I love, but not drying at all. And they last for a good amount of time. I wear them almost everyday! I think I need to buy more colours!

I have the two single W&W shadows and I have always wanted the MAC colors & I would have never thought they were dupes to one another. I also own the Milani lipstick & the blush. ugh! I would have hated my self if I would have spent all that money on the high end because I have had the drugstore ones for such a long time now. I love your videos. You should do some diy dupes. There are a ton of people doing mac fix + and urban decay all nighter. I would be curious to see the wear test on oily skin. The spays use glycerin, witch hazel, aloe gel, rose water/toner and distelled water. The ones I have made so far seem to work well. The actual primer use aloe gel, moisturizer and a pinch of powder.

I got Mac Soar lip liner yesterday, and I found out that it was very very similar to Rimmel's 1000 Kisses lip liner in Spice :) they're pretty much the same depth of color and everything, but the Rimmel one is ever so slightly warmer in undertone

I've been using matte blush for over a year because I loved it in my fair skin and had searched out a dupe for pure Hollywood knowing I wasn't about to spend that kind of money. I own several of the matte jordana lipsticks. They are nice. They have a great mascara too if you can deal with some flaking.
