Thank you for video, my choice would be the wrap dress with either of the fabrics you showed. Loved the white fabric but this may be more trouble if you have to put a lining in, the blue may be easier therefore. However, you did mention you would enjoy wearing wearing a knit dress. Good luck with whatever pattern you chose & look forward to seeing final version.

I have been the same. Only made one or two of the patterns so I thought the frugal frock challenge would be the perfect opportunity to actually sew one of them up lol

I am all about that wrap dress in that first, white fabric that you showed! It would be so drapey and beautiful!! But I'm also thinking you need to cut into that meet milk fabric because it looks amazing to work with/wear. Can't wait until the 31st to see your big reveal!

I was also conflicted on both of those, still am lol. Everytime I decided on something I would walk away and then change my mind. Its been an emotional battle 🤣

I made the Leila dress a while back & wore it the other day, it's one of my favourites, I think if I made it again I'd lengthen the bodice (I'm 5'8"). It would be lovely in the purple. Thanks for joining us Jody, I've added you to the playlist, looking forward to seeing what you make

Thank you. How did you get on with the pattern?

@@SewingStash pretty good, it was quite a fun sew. All that topstitching gets the heart rate up! The bodice is very short though, I lengthened it by 2” and probably could’ve gone longer for me. Also if you’re on the upper end of the sizing, I’d lengthen the belt - I didn’t but wish I had.

@@sewinginscottish thanks for the tip. I've noticed it comes up small but thought that maybe because I'm large chested. Glass. I added on 2 inches now
