I didn’t realize how little was in those pencils and I bought 2 of them. I watched Wayne Goss’s video, that’s how I found out. I won’t be re-purchasing for sure. I thought it was waterproof and I let it dry while I did my eye shadow but after I applied my foundation it was gone.😢

I love the overal quality of your video. To be able to really see the product on your skin up close. This set up is amazing. Although I wish your would have set your camera focus on your face, because the auto focus is going a bit wild.

I really wanted to get the LE pencil, but when I converted to CAD dollars and saw that it was $47.57 plus shipping, I knew it was a NO for me, and that was before I knew how much product there was. I think I would have liked it if it were a little less expensive. After watching your video, I don't think I'm really missing out. I thought the Jones Road pencil looked just as nice. It probably comes down to texture and coverage longevity. One key thing I did takeaway from your video is that a pencil concealer, kept in your handbag, could really come in handy! I like the convenience. You're right about having choices....I recently watched a video by Amanda Z, and she had some interesting options as well that I think you may like. Thank you so much! ♥

I watched videos from Cara Brook (she invited Saint and Demi makeup lines.). One interesting thing she does is use pinpoint self tanner (or you could use eyeshadow) to shade areas that are too light. It sounds odd but it works. It’s a little too fiddly for me and I’ve never been able to do it efficiently but it’s an interesting idea.

I’ve never used these pencils but they look perfect for me. I have something very similar that I use on age spots. I also use them on some of my deeper wrinkles. If you have clear skin, you probably wouldn’t like them.

Do you like her lipsticks? I've been trying to get them forever

Just one point. You can sharpen the Lisa Elridge. The sharpener is at the base of the pencil. A great product.

I have 3 Jones Road pencils and I think they will be fine for me as long as I add a little setting powder. You can pinpoint with them too as well as doing broader strokes. I’ll pass on the LE one. The price is really outrageous for the amount offered.

I like concealer in pencil format. I have very dark purplish discoloration in particular spots around my eyes and a dense, yellowish concealer does what I need to cover them. Because the areas are distinct, a thin pencil works well to cover just those areas. MyChelle used to have a concealer that matched my skin color perfectly and had the density to cover my port wine birthmark. It came in stick form, and it was perfect. I keep trying to find a replacement but haven’t yet. Maybe one of these will work.

Try Ben Nye! They make stick concealers like crayons and with so many shades!

@ Thank you! I used the Mellow Yellow concealer for years (thanks to my theater background for introducing me). It didn’t come to mind to look at the Ben Nye products now. Isn’t that silly when my theatrical makeup kit had so many of their products?

I can see this appealing for someone wanting to cover any blemish, but I'd worry about it drying out in a mechanical pencil form. That's happened to me too many times.

You guys realize it’s almost 2500 dollars an ounce, so no way in hell would I buy.

I agree. There are other options. Nars soft matte concealer in the pot can be applied with a small eyeliner brush and it works great. Plus the pot lasts forever. The Jones Road looks good as well.

That is way too much money for me to spend on these 2 products. I can do the same thing with a jar of L’Oréal cream foundation that I use with a brush . It works fine!😮😮😮😮😮

Lisa only does pinpoint concealing after her foundation is on. It's a last step to perfect, it is not meant to be used in place of foundation. She is truly a master.
@FrugieBlog5 күн бұрын
She used it on bare skin in her KZbin video. She said you can do whatever you want. She is a master, indeed.

this is not what the pencil is designed for, again its in the NAME. PINPOINT and it's designed for small concealing work, that is why it's was not suggested to be used all over the under eye. if you will stick to what it's designed for which is smaller areas like a spot, you won't be using too much of it. :)
@alltheketoladies2095 күн бұрын
I thought that it wasn't meant for the under eyes in her video? I love Lisa and enjoy her lipsticks but the rest of her makeup hasn't impressed me though she is the ultimate sales woman. I'd be interested if she comes up with a liquid concealer.
@FrugieBlog5 күн бұрын
She said you could use it anywhere in any way you like. I'm sure she's coming out with a liquid- she's a good sales woman for sure!

Lisa's pencils seem to be specifically for very small spot concealment. The amount of product definitely isn't for the under eyes, unless you want to spend a ton of 💵. Watch, in the next 3 yrs all the other cosmetic companies will be making their own versions. Thanks for the comparative review Rebecca. ❤

Love Lisa but literally every Makeup Artist does pinpoint concealer. She didn’t invent this technique.
