I was 8 years old when my dad started forcing me to plant mango trees, coconut trees, chiku, rambutan, cempedak, bananas, papayas, and for gardening , lemon grass, beetle leaves, lady's finger, chillies, long beans and Indian herbs. Now I'm 40 and my dad long gone. I grumbled at that time when he made me plant those trees and taught me gardening on our land in Malaysia, but I remembered what he said, o son, these trees will grow someday and will feed you and your kids when I'm long gone. 30 years has passed and I am proud of the trees that I planted with my bare hands, that they grew so big and producing so much fruits. My land is alive thanks to my late dad, full of herbs and fruit producing trees. Don't know why, we Indians love planting stuffs, most importantly herbs, mangoes, coconuts and bananas😂

Our recent visit to a property we tasted a black sapote which was round and small but delicious. I can watch this video again and again. I also love water lilies. Thank you Rani and Paul. One of the things I miss is being able to own my land here and grow things on it. Sit in a shade at the end of the day, eating berries we got from the tree. Blissful.
