Though I am Ashkenaz, I absolutely _love_ so many of the Sephardic customs and traditions. While both of our traditions are special, it’s just amazing to learn about what makes us all unique. Judaism is definitely _not_ a monolith but is a tapestry of amazing people with varied backgrounds and traditions. 😊 Sara, I truly thank you for helping to share the beauty of Judaism with the world! Everything you do is bringing light into the world and showing them the beauty of HaShem and Judaism!!!! It is my fervent hope that your efforts will help people discover that Jews aren’t the ‘evil’ of the world, and thereby reduce antisemitism. The world is becoming increasingly antisemitic, which frightens me for my son, and it is my fervent hope that through exposure to Jews through social media (because of wonderful, brave creators like you) that antisemitism will be reduced after people can see we’re people just like them! 😊 TYSM for your creations on KZbin!

I am a catholic with spiritual interests in Jewish life, having been brought up in a Jewish neighborhood at one point and working with Jewish friends...I have always enjoyed both sets of holidays and incorporate them into my daughter's life to share with her friends, thus multi culture becomes easier for you to share and not judge...your youtube thoughts could not have come at a better time as my daughter and I just sat down to have her son put together Friday's menu...thank you for showing me some more ideas...each time I watch I think of my grandmother who worked with Jewish friends and how specifically she cooked and always brought to her table foods and the settings a special way...she never explained why until I was engaged and inherited their gifts from these friends and then understood her style of cooking and entertaining...thank you again for your content...my one question would be where do you purchase your clothing and head scarves 💚✨️

Joyous and blessed Rosh Hashanah to you and your family! Liturgical Christians will celebrate our new year in November with the First Sunday of Advent to begin lighting the blue candles in the Advent Wreath, one for each week, and a white candle in the center on Christmas Eve. In my family traditions we also have lights on the house to symbolize the light of the Messiah, with a special blue string around the door that we change to multicolored at midnight Christmas Eve. The liturgy used in churches changes and we enjoy a ton of beautiful Advent hymns, as well as Psalms, and other Scripture. The food, the decorations, the crafts, I love it all. I love new beginnings!
