Thank you for the video, and for mentioning the smoothness. I am really looking forward to 12.5 for that.

19:30 FSD is making a protected left-turn with a green arrow but brakes before the intersection (16 mph to 1 mph) then completes the left-turn.

20:20 FSD decides to go around a stopped bus without visualizng/seeing that traffic ahead of the stopped bus was bumper to bumper and had nowhere to go.

Thanks for the very informative comparison. I hope the Tesla FSD team watched the HW3 mistakes that you discovered.

Thank you! They know. I send them my videos. I’ve seen a couple other users report these too.

But stopping at flashing yellow and green lights is a pretty big issue... can get rear-ended.

Great video! Question, when the car does something stupid and dangerous like slamming on the brakes for blinking yellow, wouldn't it be better to disengage and give them that feedback?
@TimDOES4 ай бұрын
Yes. I sometimes let things play out during a video to show exactly how it will recover. I disengage more when not filming to provide more feedback. I also send Tesla all my videos.

14:54 FSD confused on what to do with a stopped car on the left-most lane and with people near it. FSD not trained?/can't go around stopped vehicle by passing on the right?

43:48 FSD going straight thru T-intersection brakes (slows down 27 mph to 19 mph) on a green light.

9:55 FSD stops at blinking yellow lights. It treated blinking yellow lights as blinking red lights?
@troydelgado12714 ай бұрын
5:36 FSD is going straight thru but it brakes(stop?) before the intersection on a green light. The traffic lights had red light for cars turning left at the same time it had green lights for straight thru traffic. Did FSD get confused as to which traffic light applies when it sees the red and green lights simultaneously?

21:05 FSD is turning right on a no right-turn sign.

42:35 high beams in a well lit street in a city? That would earn you a ticket in Germany. Auto high beams are still broken
@TimDOES4 ай бұрын
This is perfectly fine here. They work really well and turn off at the first sign of another vehicle as you can see in the video.
@RubenKelevra4 ай бұрын
@@TimDOES yeah, but high beams are not necessary in the city and for bidden in most countries.

Are you a early beta tester? I still haven't gotten it.

Good test. HW3 still has life in it. A few more issues than HW4, but still pretty good.

What do you mean “life in it” man? Just 8 month old Model 3s have HW3.
@TarequlSifat4 ай бұрын
This is NOT 6 years old hardware. It is less than one year old because it was sold less than a year ago as new.
@chriso58424 ай бұрын
@@TarequlSifatlots of FUD that Tesla will abandon it since 12.5 was first rolled out to HW4 and Tesla needed to optimize to get it to run on HW3. I expect Tesla will continue to improve FSD on HW3 but it will be last in line.
@f2yd4 ай бұрын
When HW3 was released it was so much ahead of its time and it's still pretty good today We will eventually see its limits, but I think we're a few years away from that, there's a lot of room for optimizing the NNs running on it through various techniques, some of which haven't even been discovered yet
