8:10 make sure to disengage and reengage directly again in such situations so you can send in a voice note. Those issues should really be fixed and if nobody reports them, the Team does not know that these are happening and have no data to train the network to avoid those. :)

5:39 why blue street lamps? Is drug usage at traffic lights such an issue? ;D

The latest FSD software still has some issues. It cannot read and understand road signs such as DO NOT ENTER, or ROAD CLOSED. It also cannot consistently handle speed bumps or pot holes. It also routinely goes over the speed limit. By 10 mph or more .
@tonyvelasco5732Күн бұрын
Did a 400-mile round trip from Vancouver WA to Edmonds WA for a Christmas Eve family get-together on v13.2.2. Only 1 disengagement, and that was just before getting home, turning into my neighborhood! It is so amazing with city lane merges and roundabouts, hundreds of miles of I5 including 80mph driving and stop and go driving (in Seattle), then neighborhood driving and errands around Edmonds. The disengagement was because the turn into my neighborhood is from a suicide lane where you can turn in both directions. This instead of a dedicated turn lane, and it, for some reason, won't get into the suicide lane to make the turn. Silly error by FSD. Also rained on the drive home heavily 3 times, and fsd never gave up. It reduced its top available speed during the heavy rains and moved over to the slowest lane, but was able to at least stay at the speed limit. Sped back up again as the rain eased off to full hurry mode speed and performance!

@RubenKelevra18 сағат бұрын
And? Lets see how it performs! :)
@delawarepilot18 сағат бұрын
@ ok, better in many aspects. I had a hesitant unprotected left turn I had to take over. The speed control they have nailed down. It’s still not getting into the correct lane for future turns. It’s not thinking ahead. When it gets to the parking lot, it’s trying to park itself but ends up taking 2 spaces. Not ribotaxi yet.

17:56 You should not have disengaged here and let it do its thing which was probably a reroute. AI Driver reports that in many cases FSD does not follow navigation and makes ad hoc changes in route and still recovers and takes you to destination.
@TimDOES6 күн бұрын
Yep. I’ve had that happen too. In this situation it would have added 5-10 minutes to the trip and since the navigation route didn’t change with information showing a new faster route, I disengaged. There was no need for the car to reroute since there were 2 lanes still able to go straight.

The car messed up here so I disengaged and sent a voice note back to Tesla so they can fix it. I explain why in the video. Either the car got into the left turn lane to pass vehicles going straight or was going to turn left with the navigation still showing its intention to go straight.

@@TimDOES That's the point. If you disengage, we won't know what the purpose of FSD was.

Another OUTSTANDING TimDOES FSD video! I was waiting for a FSD .13.2 video from the Strip. I agree with your assessment of 13.2. Most of the 'amazement' of 13.2 DOES come across in the video. Great Job by you and FSD.

Why does FSD keeps the car in the left lane when there are no vehicles in the right lane? Is it allowed in the United States to continue driving in the left lane while the right lane is empty?
@TimDOESАй бұрын
No, we don’t have a law here in Nevada that forces us to be in a specific lane. Our lane management is based on courtesy. If FSD is in the left lane on the highway and a vehicle approaches from behind, it will move over to the right. What section of road are you speaking of?
@erwin3211Ай бұрын
@@TimDOES Well, any road in your video with two or more lanes, where the car stays on the second lane (left of the rightmost lane) for a long time while there is no vehicle on the rightmost lane. Thanks to your explanation of the rules in Nevada, my understanding is that it is allowed. In Belgium, it is assumed that it is unnecessary to stay in the second lane while the car is not overtaking anyone. In fact, overtaking on the right when there is little traffic is forbidden here because it is considered dangerous due to the fact that indicators are not always used when returning to the right lane. I hope FSD will soon be allowed in Europe as well. It seems they are still afraid of the favorable evolution toward fewer accidents and fewer casualties. Most accidents happen without FSD and without Autopilot.

I feel like most of the navigation issues are due to the inability to read signs. I don’t see how these navigation issues will get better until FSD can read and react to signs.
