Very nice test drive during the night and with a huge number of distracting lights and complex navigation scenarios. I think any new driver to this area would be confused numerous times. Nice comments, speeds up, editing. Great video again. Awesome FSD performance.

Great video, thanks. Two points come to mind. Improvements continue and Taxis with no driver are years away. Tesla needs 99.9% perfection in all traffic situations to have no driver in the car; that is a long way off. FWIW I'm going to look for your video on the next FSD release. I like your objectivity.

I'm sitting here smiling as I type this. All your concerns .... not getting in the left lane early enough but the car does things so well. Vegas is a tough city to drive in. All those orange poles and road works. It's a great test of FSD.

Tesla has come so far but for robotaxi we can’t even have 1 mistake. That’s the crazy part to me

It depends what you classify as a mistake. I see comments that pressing the accelerator is an intervention or a mistake but a taxi can drive too slow and still be viable. It can wait too long to get into a turn lane and still be viable. It has to behave properly around emergency vehicles which is difficult since it doesn’t have ears. It has to be able to get out of tricky situations. Etc.

I don’t believe distracted driving is legal in many places (but happens regularly of course); I believe fsd as it is today, is safer than the many distracted and impaired drivers on our roads;

Great test loop. So much happening. It did really well but the running of red lights is an issue I have seen with other 12.5.x testers. Map data needs improving and has for a long time. And it is frustrating it waits so long to get into the lane it needs for a turn. Hopefully that is a reasonably easy fix.
