Hw3 came out mid 2019. Did you upgrade from hw2.5 to hw3? If not, you probably wont get ASS? 2024.27.25 i got last week has ASS on my HW3 Sad that we can't upgrade from HW3 to HW4

HW2.5 was only for Model S and X. All Model 3s and Ys have HW3 or above. As long as HW3 hasn’t hit its limits with FSD, I don’t mind Tesla not offering an upgrade. If, at some point, Tesla announces that Unsupervised FSD won’t happen on HW3, I would expect they will offer an upgrade, or they will face a massive class action lawsuit. The cost for Tesla to upgrade its millions of cars would still be less than the cost of settlement in a class action lawsuit.

Have you gotten 12.x FSD update. It was released as part of that wide release. I got Summon on my “vision only” Tesla two weeks ago with 12.5.4 update. I’ve had Summon on my older (Radar and USS equipped) Tesla for 2 years, but it was not usable until the latest update. On that car, I got 12.5.2 last Tuesday, then 12.5.4 the next day.

Haven’t had lane drift in the HW4 car. Just in the HW3

When they first switched over to the full AI stack in the spring is when my 2024 model y had lane drift for 2 weeks. For how much of a code change that was it was a reasonably small bug. I will pay attention for a bit on my 2018 model Y thanks for the heads up.

Do I need to subscribe to full FSD to receive the ASS? Currently I have 2024.32 update seems it passed 2024.27.

We purchased FSD, so not sure. ASS is part of FSD so I would guess yes. Anyone else know if you get the updates without FSD?

@@ALLElectricChannelI got 12.5.2 on my (radar and USS enabled) HW3 car last Tuesday, (no sunglasses support). The next day, I got 12.5.4 (with Sunglass support). My “vision only” HW3 car got 12.5.4 last Tuesday, and no additional update needed the next day (as sunglass support was included in the Tuesday update.

Based on my release notes on my 2018 Model 3 it doesn’t show ASS. But I have summon in my app and some of the routing is “smart”

Useless testing.... unlike others that actually test it to pick them in more busy area and works great. Sending to a target in a parking lot is useless and not something I would use it for. The feature you are looking for to park it a space is suppose to be part of the future release of "vanish" feature.

By using the “go to target”, you can setup the car to go to a position that gives you better access. Generally, when I “Summon my car to me”, it will work perfectly, but the drivers side door is usually opposite me, so I have to walk in front of the car to get in. This is not a really big deal, but with “go to target”, I can have the car meet me at a spot where I am already at the drivers door, and I can start summoning the car to that spot before I get to it myself.

When I stand in front of the store, example returning Amazon items at Kohls, I just have the car come to me and it better positions itself close to the curb rather than some weird angle when you have go to “target”. I suppose everyone will have a different outcome and complaints of why it doesn’t position itself well when going to a “target”.

@@jasonberger3227 I seem to get better results when using come to me standing in front of a store much better than go to target. When it comes to me it properly come close to the curb to pick me up rather than when using go to target will just randomly bring itself there and seems to careless on how it positions itself. Go to target is more like a party trick to play with an open parking lot and not care how it positions itself.

I am so happy to have hands free now for my 2018 model Y it makes travel so much more relaxed. I have been using it with my 2024 model Y of course so I knew what I was missing when in my 2018 model Y. Now I want summon in my 2024 car. Summon is the only way my 2018 model y gets out of the garage.
