I didn't think it was overdone. Keep doing what you're doing man. Have absolutely been loving your vids as someone who just recently got a model Y
@gabrielgingras814Ай бұрын
Yes it's a bit overdone, but the main culprit is when you use tracks that have been memed to death like Simon Says, which can still be funny when done right but does not fit an autonomous driving failure because it's been so overused it's painfully cheesy.

Your channel needs to blow up. One of the best FSD channels out there. You're the only one out there giving a real world impression of what it's like using FSD - not cherry picked early morning or late afternoon drives on a predefined route with minimal traffic - no, you go all out in rush hour with pedestrians. Great camera setup, great commentary, great production value. Honestly, this seems like an algorithm issue, hope this gets fixed!

7:20, tight squeeze: Not sure why he's not overlaying the FSD screen to show how it was managing it through that parking lot on its own. 14:40, going left: Same here...no FSD screen. I'd love to see FSD showing its path as it contemplated a left turn while stopping there. Perhaps, he could wait it out a bit more (if no car behind) to determine if FSD was trying to wait for opposing traffic to clearcout or not. Or, would FSD just wait forever ? Or, would it make a mistake and cross that pavement divider ? It appeared that the paint on that barrier was confusing. Should be either no paint or solid paint ... Why dash paint as if you can cross over to pass a car in front ?

Though Tesla did just change the wording to their description of FSD to remove the part about it continuously improving - right after introducing new software that pushes the limits of the HW3 computer installed in most Teslas currently in service. It's not unreasonable to assume that Tesla is losing confidence in HW3 eventually driving without human supervision.

Mine clips curbs and it even clipped an MTA bus on my right mirror. Is this a calibration issue? You’d think it would be able to self calibrate or tell you if it isn’t
@aware2actionАй бұрын
The issue with FSD is, it is very unpredictable. With every s/w updates something or other changes. On highways good enough,not so on crowded internal roads with peak hour traffic. Last few days, it neglected no turn signs, school zones, almost hit a school bus on rear(I disengaged), tried to take incorrect turns, tried to change lanes at zero speed(very unsafe) with speeding cars on back on other lane. When I feel sleepy, I use it to wake me and be super alert.😂

The way it pauses for 12 seconds during summon cautions is not going to work. Maybe maximum 6 seconds but 12 seconds is too long. A 12 second pause will confuse people walking in the parking lot and other drivers.
