Great video, thanks for the unbiased review. Watching it navigate lanes at 26 mins like you said was incredible to watch

Glad to hear you mention the biggest V13 issues are largely preference or maps. This is spot on. I was starting to get annoyed with your being annoyed before you acknowledged that. 😎 Great work with these videos... I'm patiently waiting for V13 in Victoria on my 2024 Model 3P.

Yeah my bad if I came off overly negative. At the end of the day the car is doing things that no other consumer vehicle can, so even with its issues the tech is still incredible. If they fix the mapping issues it'll be insane.

@@CanadaFSD I think Vancouver is a great use case for FSD. It's got everything to throw at it. Will look forward to seeing more -- subscribed.

I’m assuming you say “dee-cal”? I worked with a bunch of Americans and I’m pretty sure that’s how they’d always say it. 😂

20:12 Fairly sure it should have waited until there were no pedestrians in that side of the road, in the US if there are any pedestrians in your half of the road you can't enter the crosswalk. I'm betting in Canada that could have been a ticket for a normal person.

Good luck driving in any US city if you adhere to that. People will honk the sh*&t out of you if you're not moving when your path is wide and clear.

34:12 That suv was stopped in the crosswalk, bad drivers. That pedestrian did everything correctly, and was blocked from view by the moron stopped in the crosswalk. Don't stop in crosswalks!

I think a little more studying of the Changelog and its options are needed before making an FSD video otherwise its just watching you drive around aimlessly and without purpose or test parameters. You didn't show your Offset or anything at the beginning to give your viewers reference or for people actually collecting data off these videos. Just an honest take.
@CanadaFSD4 күн бұрын
@@Nurse_Diesel fair, I talked about the changes in my first v13 video, I even showed the release notes. So I didn’t bring it up in this video since it felt redundant. My apologies
@Nurse_Diesel4 күн бұрын
@@CanadaFSD No apologies, like I said its just my honest take. As it seems like the offset is the true speed parameter being used at all times. The modes seem little to do with speed but how the car uses that offset. Will it change as many lanes as possible to use the maximum amount of offset it can in hurry mode or will it stay in the same lane within the offset, only changing lanes when it forced to by really slow drivers taking it out of its minimum levels in chill mode. Its very interesting watching how it uses those settings.
