The first FST text was published on 19 january 2008. 2 month later on 16 March 2008 at 20.00hr the first FST engine was started in my home and my wife Hetty did make the video on KZbin. One day later Jan Thiel called me to congratulate me, that was close before he went to Thailand.

Till now it's still not a succes. Maily because the new gasses flow directly into the exhaust and pipes become to cool to run at higher rpm.
At this moment it has no use to go on with the same porting. A new idee which should be better wil replace the old one.

Specification:
- Fst Kreidler engine 50cc
- 5 speed (special)
- UitraSap Ignition
- 30hp at 18.000 rpm (theoretical)
Profile:
I started racing in 1964. Computers were still not there. I did hardly no calculation. With the advent of the computer everything has changed and complicated calculations are no problem any more. All old historical notes were struggling. In the past 15 years I got a number of programs. Beside I did developed many programs myself in Excel. It was my profession to do so for my employer for many years.
In 2003 also began making calculations for third parties. Not everything, but a lot can be calculated very accurately for any twostroke engine. For instance the exhaustpipe can be calculated in almost exactly the correct speed for which the setup and cylinder is optimal. Even by a large kart engines manufacturer (TM) was found to be not entirely correct. With a new calculated combustion chamber and exhaustpipe it was far better then before.
This is also partly due to the information I got from Jan Thiel and was freely available after retiring from Aprilia racing end 2007.
Also the UltraSap ignition developed by my son Raimond was a very important part. The combustion and power are strongly influenced. Read about this subject my note on Facebook

Yes I do make calculations for exhaust, chamber and ignition curves incl. tuningadvise for any 2 stroke for any purpose.

Bedankt voor de vele positieve reakties. De eerste zijn met dit FST ontwerp was een eerste doel. Nu het verder perfectioneren zodat een hoog vermogen realiteit gaat worden, want daar ging het uiteindelijk om. Dat kan even duren, maar zodra ik meer kan laten zien, zal het het zeker doen. Het is de Little Gizmo gebouwd in 2004 met 'n éénilinderblok. Maar wel met het nieuwe FST spoelsysteem, dus 10 spoelpoorten en 4 uitlaatpoorten. Per 2 uitlaatpoorten is een uitlaat aangekoppeld. De spoeling loopt geheel symmetrisch door de cilinder, waardoor een zeer grote nauwkeurigheid vereist wordt.

Imagine if Luc, Jan and Frits would develop a new 500 V4 together.... I think it would even scare MotoGP bikes.

Nicely constructed pipes. If they too are of FOS design, they surly are performing at the highest professional level.

If you read all on Kiwibiker you know that it is not right. FOS wrote in 2008 not what you said. Also pipes are Ftt design and no FOS. Fos design doesnot work at all.

Sounds awsom - heard and saw this kreidler engine for 5 years ago but have not heard any Thing of the develoment or future use of this 2 Cylinders in one concept

extended chassy helps ofcourse to eliminate the wheelie. The longer the better and put you weight in the front as possible. An L shape standing bore. is a struggle, so make the cylinder bent to the front. The front wheel does not to be strong, only the tyre must be topquality.

Nee,in Zoetermeer reed ik op de eerste 90cc uitvoering uit 2006. Die nieuwe 90cc was net niet op tijd gereed. Het FST project wordt na het seizoen weer opgepakt. Groeten, Luc

Het was de bedoeling om niet alleen als eerste het ontwerp, maar ook een draaiend prototype te hebben. 2 maanden na de aankondiging op 19 januari van dit nieuwe systeem is het prototype draaiend, de rest is een ander verhaal. Lees het verhaal op mijn website. Groeten, Luc

Are you sure 30 hp for a 50cc 2 strokes ...? Because it ja very dificult more than 20 hp with this displacement.... it is correct Congratullations....!! Unbelievable...!!

Kijk eens naar de TT van 1968 daar was ik net zo snel als de Jamathi. Ook in andere nationale wedstrijden zat ik er wel voor. Oldenbroek 1968 stond ik op het podium en geen Jamathi. Ik ben gestopt met tuning na 1968. In 2000 weer opgepakt het Aprilia nivo kan ik nu voor elke machine berekenen, in alle details.

i wonder if that extended chassy helps to eliminate the wheelie? i want to extend my 125cc but the engine is an L shape standing bore. any im struggling how to extend the chassy and going lower. tire is the same size as this rear bike tire.

Beside he never finnish a working engine, whil he wrote in a magazine "Luc I don't know who the first is with a working engine with we both came up, but I hope it wil run fast. 10 years later he wrote I had better things to do. That's how you learn to know somebody.
