I love this guy. He really makes to seem as simple as making a cake! He did it in no time. Hell, I have months constructing a stinker Pitts and is not even the fuselage done. Everything is so simple! bell-cranks, folding surfaces instead of a ribs and spars for the wings. Something that really catches my attention is sizes and angles, all coming together without gaps or faulty splices.

@erad056 жыл бұрын
Today I maidened the corsair. I'm always a little nervous when I launch a new plane for the first time. The CG 1.5 Inch is good with a little added nose weight (30gr). The model flew right out of my hand very well, almost now trimming was necessary. I made 8 flights of aprox 4 min. And with the 3S it was very fast, I mean crazy fast and very powerful, stable and sturdy. I crashed twice and almost no damage, the motor was pushed in... I ripped off the Firewall when I landed for the last time. Indeed. Now I repaired and made some reinforcements for the powered. Actually a petty I can't post any pics here. Hopefully video will soon follow.

Some pros and cons my opinion only, This is a real nice kit too all around here at least its one wing,LOL.Make sure you have a good gluegun and not cheap junk.I bought a DR-1 Tri-plane and electronics recently & there were issues but they were resolved by Flitetest there great.It was fun to build the Dr-1 even with the issues.You need alot,and I say alot of patience for first timers Im a second timer.I bought the plans for a DR-1 with a 36inch wingspan online and built it with dollartree foamboard it was easier for me at least to build that one.These guys in the videos are seasoned and make it look very simple which is good market strategy I guess.Pre-bent landing wire and screw throttle stops on servos would of helped me alot in my DR-1 kit build.Its ridiculous to bend zbends in cramped situations takes some practice. The landingwire and servo push wires gauge and hardness is overkill and very hard to bend not necessary for a kit this size even on landing gear, but I guess its cheaper and keeps the cost for the kit down.Also in this Corsair kit why not put the servos for the aielrons on the underside of the wing just curious?????Not too aesthetic in my opinion Glenn in N.Y.Rest of the plane looks fantastic for what it is....

Great idea - unfortunately I think they’d need to be rather large in order to get enough lift from some substantial wings - it’s gonna have a big body. Also the windows are helpful for making it look scale & detailed. That’s 220 windows on an Airbus A380, or 202 windows on a Boeing 747-400. PS I vote Boeing 747 because i) the bump up front makes it instantly distinguishable as a 747 and ii) because America 🇺🇸🗽 🥰

The resolution of a servo doesn't change when you pick a hole on the servo horn. The speed, throw and torque change. The further away from the rotation point, the more speed, more throw and less torque you get. You still have the same amount of 'steps' between full throws.
