FTB Game Balls: Penn State vs. USC

We just need AK to scheme some other players open. If Warren goes down can they scheme Reynolds open or Dinkins from the TE spot. Can we not scheme a WR open or Singleton? Happy so far as a fan but it worries me.

Drew had some Ints but he absolutely gets a Game Ball. He was huge on the last drive where he had to convert TWO 4th downs or game over.

With six games on film, it’s time for mid season adjustments. This may be the last year the stars align before huge departures to the NFL. USC recognized Warren leaking out on the goal line. Need another goal line option that doesn’t a risk an interception. Maybe the stacked, overload formation to the right setting up the walk in touchdown. If Pribula is in, take Drew out. Put in a tight end to lead block/ catch. Another game getting gashed early and often. Give USC a ton of credit for team speed and some sick blocking playing complimentary football. Things settle down a bit when Carter is spying the play from the second level. Rojas hasn’t shown pursuit speed. Is Lane ready to take over strong safety and let Reed return to the box? Is time for Carter to move back? The other case for moving Carter, is USC’s heavy use of tackle-led wide zone. Nobody on the d-line is going to run down the stampede in backside pursuit. Rojas and the backers are getting caught in the wash. Carter needs to be a zip code closer to the play using the boundary.

This Pete album was my weakness when I first read that book and remembered the words in that song immediately too I feel bad 🙁 I didn’t even read it before that song 🎶 it is just beautiful but it’s not as if the lyrics were so good as they should not have had any impact but it’s so much better and more beautiful 🤩 and reminds us of that one of our own and I ❤

Yep! Fairly new style trend since Nike doesn't use actual laces anymore. NFL balls still use non-synthetic laces. The ball in the intro is a Nike Vapor Elite ball we got custom made with the FTB logo stamp -- which is the same ball all the Nike schools like Penn State use in games.

Is it time to have the discussion whether having Strange and Theo held Tyler Warren back? I think we all expected great things from him this year, but not this. This is all-time good.

We think it has more to do with Kotelnicki understanding Warren's diverse skillset and knowing how to utilize it rather than Warren being bunched in by a couple of NFLers.
