Yosemite - a long and interesting geological past!

Nice view from Glacier Point. I took my bride to Yosemite for our honeymoon and she cried from the sheer beauty as you come out of that tunnel. I read somewhere that it took over 300,000 to 400,000 years for the Yosemite granitic batholith to cool. People don't often know it was underground when it did cool off.

I've only been to Yosemite once, many years ago - need to go back again!! Such an amazing place.
