Great video. Forgive me for my ignorance. I am looking at the FTM-100 or the FTM-400 for a mobile application. Are they able to connect to the wires-x in the mobile application? Do they need anything extra? Thank you!!

Great vid. I didn't know that the 100 had direct wires X access based on their specs listed on sellers sites etc. Can you comment on what the optional wiresX node controller adds beyond what this vid shows? Is that if you wanted to make your radio into a WiresX repeater instead of using an existing repeater that offers wiresX access? Also if you switch to a different room on the repeater can other users be in other rooms at the same time? Thank you

Keith Belzowski when you put the radio into node controller mode it talks directly to the repeater via RF. That is all it will do, the radio is rendered useless as a radio to talk from. You will need another radio or ht. And yes if you move the repeater to another room the whole repeater is moved, but only in the mode you have it set for. Either analog mode(which is pointless) or digital.

If I try to create a connecting point, is it possible to do an acces with PMR frequencies ? The french rules are uneasy, and connecting HAM to Internet isn't really legal even if many users are ignoring these rules. You have to get a permission and exceptions are rare, even to disconnect your relay through Internet if something is going wrong.
