Just want to say I'm so happy for you!!! :) I'm going on T sometime really soon so it's always so useful to hear people talking about the changes, especially the changes that few others mention, like what you said about wanting an outlet for your energy in a non-aggressive way. I think at the core you seem like a very nice person, and I don't think T will change that. :)

Hey Allen, I am sorry for your troubles with car and such, but otherwise it seems like you are doing well with transition related stuff. Just wanted to say hey and thanks bc you are one of the guys I have been following for a while now and I always appreciate your videos. I might start making some, I am 5 weeks on T today and loving it!

I'm British and the comment from lady from Sears (sp?) made me laugh out loud. It's pretty common for 50+ year old ladies to talk down to young men I am sorry to say. They don't usually mean it nastily, I just assume they are being motherly. You look great- but more importantly- sound like you're dealing with the whole process really well. Best of luck!

I like that it made you laugh. :) Thank you!

I hate being called buddy. It seems disrespectful if it is from someone younger than me or only a few years older.

My nose hairs are getting long too! I'm almost 4 months on T and I'd never heard anyone else talk about that. I thought I was alone.

haha. You're not alone! :)

Hi Allen, what was your T dose before that you said was too high for you?
@TheSLOfox10 жыл бұрын
The one that was too high was 100mg injected once a week.
@1PhotoGeek10 жыл бұрын
TheSLOfox The same thing happened to me at that dose.

Allen (sorry if I've spelled your name wrong), I'm curious... What do you teach?
@TheSLOfox10 жыл бұрын
I teach English at the college level.

That's awesome. I sometimes imagine my professional life down that road had I not chosen the medical field. (It's further off your video topic but) What are some of your favorite literary works?
@TheSLOfox10 жыл бұрын
Cristofer Strickland Some that come to the top of my head right now are the poetry of Walt Whitman and also Mary Oliver, and Virginia Woolf's books. Also Life of Pi!

i get the bud/buddy thing all the time. ALL THE TIME. I really don't like it, because i'd rather look my age. but I try to take it as the (mostly) positive it is.

It's funny.. When I'm read as male people do treat me rougher but I see it like a tough love kinda thing cause they think I'm a young kid too.. I get Buddy and Sir a lot and the other day I got kiddo from this older man at the train station.. I don't mind better than Ma'am or miss..

Idk the amounts of time I did insane stuff like go in men's rooms pre-T and poop casually like ( PRE TESTO dude). Im like scared to do it now and Im on T cos idk what got into me (ha dno bad experience in the men's). Tho, a stall was occupied in the men's once (the only ffing stall) so I had to go to the woman's (itwas calm-ish) but then I open the stall door and a small kid was pooping, casually staring at me XD I ran back to the guy's and waited for the stall. welp that happened

You are youthful. Embrace it! You'll appreciate it more when you're my age, lol! The sales ladies you came into contact with probably chose not to have children. Some women when they see men who look young enough to be their sons, they assume that surrogate mother role, especially if they've chosen to delay having or not to have children. Pay it no mind. I had the same issue when I was younger than you are now, over twenty-five years ago. Also, you're looking awesome.... buddy!
@TheSLOfox10 жыл бұрын
Thanks! :) hmm... interesting psychological theory there.

TheSLOfox After a couple years on T, that same sales clerk will probably offer to buy you a microwave...if not a car! LOL!
