I haven't got to this part yet, but this is why I want phallo rather than meto if it comes to it. I don't really want arm grafts though, hoping I can get thigh graft if I have lost weight by then.
@craftysunn27076 жыл бұрын
I don't want phallo for the reason that you won't have any sensation (I think) and you can't become erect. They're basically sticking a dick on that you can pee out of. I'd rather feeling and function over size, personally.
@yearningforpetrichor6 жыл бұрын
Crafty Sunn yeah I agree, I'm thinking of going meto too when I get to that stage
@hitmewithacliche6 жыл бұрын
Sensation loss is hit n miss. You can get erectile function but it's like a pump (means you can keep it up though!). I feel like I would be more dysphoric over the meto results than just keeping my actual parts. It's a shame there's not a better option out there :(

I just found your channel and your positive attitude through all this has been great. I'm a middle aged mom with a 15 and 12 yr old. My older son has friends in the LGBTQ community and there are a few on his fencing team as well. I find myself wanting to learn more about how to talk with them, like using the right pronouns etc, and not letting my lack of knowledge make me feel awkward. I'm learning but still have questions. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your experience.

I really love how positive you've been in your lower surgery videos. Considering you've had every right to be negative it is refreshing to always hear you remind yourself of the positives because negativity can get so toxic if you dwell on it. It makes it a lot easier to be happy for you. Also what is 'Burn's Night"? lol

Totally agree! I was coming here to say that I love 1) seeing that he keeps the goal in mind because that's what it's about, "why did you do this & what's the ultimate outcome," 2) that he's showing others curious about taking the next step what to *realistically* expect could happen and 3) it's so satisfying to watch a tiring post-op recovery in hyperspeed haha

You make the idea of transition so much less scary. Even when things go wrong and you're frustrated and in pain, you're focused on healing and delighted by progress. And I liked that your first video included moments where you were like, "why did i put myself in this situation?" That thought is exactly what I'm afraid of, so seeing you weather the storm, and seeing how you glowed in the happy moments... it was really encouraging. You and Shaaba are so beautiful, and I'm grateful to you both for sharing these personal moments.

You cannot be serious! That a person has life threatening surgery, is taking up hospital beds and other resources because of their delusions and narcissistic entitled whims when there are people around the world dying because they cannot afford life saving surgery is ridiculous! And you want to enable your niece (whom you say you love), to allow someone to butcher and mutilate her?

Thank you for taking the time to document your surgery journey. I'm currently 5 days post op stage 1 meta. I'm having the urethral lengthening, so a little bit different from what you have had. The difficulty is that there is so little information out there about what to expect after the surgery regarding recovery and pain. Every little thing my wife and I have been panicking about. It has been so reassuring to watch you videos and see the ups and downs, and where you are now. I'm binge watching your videos as a comfort when I am feeling low to remind myself that this pain and discomfort is temporary and that it will all be worth it once it is healed up. Thank you to you and your amazing wife for taking the time to share this, and please know how much it is appreciated.

Also great to see that you’re healing and continuing to heal and feeling better. And you’re right, in a few months you won’t even be thinking about what you went through, but you will have the documentation showing what you went through. I feel for you, man. The catheter is no joke! I had one for 5 months after my hysterectomy. It was the hardest thing for me to mentally prepare for before my medioplasty surgery. I'm one week post-op and going to see the doctor today. Hopefully, it's healing properly. The pills and the catheter are the worst parts. And feeling like a little boy my wife had to take care of. But any way, thank you for vloging your surgery. Being able to watch your progress and compare it to mine has really helped with my anxiety over the oozing and the swelling bit. Thanks!!😀
