For people shipping gc2b binders to Europe. While ordering your binder, you can select that it’s a gift. You don’t have to pay import taxes for gifts, but you do for products. So make sure that you send it as a gift to yourself, and it saves you a lot of money!

Dennis Tristan Because you have to pay taxes for a product. If a company ships something to your country, it pays taxes and you therefore also if you buy their product. If it’s a gift, it isn’t necessarily a product that you import, it could also be a sweater from your aunt. Therefore you don’t pay taxes over gifts. At least to the Netherlands, it saved me about €20 or something

hey, quick disclaimer: do not buy cheap binders from amazon. they might cost less, but the quality is much worse too. and that's critical, especially considering the fact that even binders from reputable sources can hurt you, if you misuse them; that effect is amplified greatly with cheap amazon binders. i have heard some negative things about kt tape, and have seen alternatives made by trans people(transtape), so just. be safe with it. and lastly, just for good measure - do not, ever, bind with ace bandages. theyre made to constrict with movement and youre gonna royally fuck up your ribs with that. binders may cost a lot (and take a lot of time to ship to some places), but its way more worth it to have something thats expensive and safer(and more comfortable), over something thats cheap and more dangerous.

I have two binders from Danea and in my experience they work pretty well keeping in mind i have a pretty big chest so that it will never be really flat. They give me the confidence to just where t shirts as where i normally would wear a sports bra tank top shirt and hoody just to layer up. Binding is still not ideal but for the time being its getting the job done.

I own a Danae binder, the sports edition. It costs 50 euros and sadly doesn't really bind at all, so I would not recommend it. It kinda works for me cause I have basically nothing to bind away but people who want to reduce their chest size should go for something else, like gc2b.

Okay a thing I experienced after binding with a cheap Amazon binder for two years...it has made my chest size different on both sides because of the clasps on the side (it didn't bind evenly) so stay away from those. I use OK Tape (they're cheaper than KT Tape) and you can buy that on Amazon too though it can leave blisters if you don't clean your skin prior to putting the tape on. Hope that helps!!!

yea! so Noah u mentioned that you didn’t hear about complications from binding too long, and ur right that people don’t really talk about it. binding for longer than 8-9hrs at a time is dangerous and can mess up your breast tissue (especially larger chested people or people who are still going through puberty). i know someone who ended up with lumps because they were unsafely binding with tape too tightly and for too long. if you’re binding for longer than 3 or 4 hours you should always use a proper binder instead tape, because they’re intended to support your body. besides issues with your tissue, you can end up with sever back problems like Noah mentioned - which is why it’s so important to take breaks every 8hrs from binding. i have scoliosis so i have to frequently take breaks or use tape on either side for short periods of time so i’m not in pain. i know it’s like super shitty to have to take breaks and it is that whole “which is worse” thing... but the perspective i try to have is that even if i almost hate certain parts of my body, it’s still my body and if i don’t take care of it no one else will. sometimes by doing things to treat my body kindly it also helps me appreciate it more and ease my dysphoria. hope this helped anyone that needed it! hope you’re still recovering well Noah :)

Wren Paetkau I think I might’ve damaged my breast tissue from binding too long since I usually have long school days,, if I leave my binder off for a bit will it heal or am I screwed?? Could that also screw up a future top surgery procedure?? I’m sorry for the questions but I’m worried that it could become a big problem

Danae isn't worse than a sports bra. I have one and I am not a big fan of it, because you feel like a sausage and you get one bump in the middle of your chest

I got a binder from danae, and it's pretty bad. They bind about as well as sport bra's. Tho I chose to get a pre-made one and I have heard really good things about the custom made binders. They are way to expensive for their quality in my opinion. I don't recommend it.

How much did you pay for tax? i live in Denmark and i want to buy a gc2b binder
@fabumimimi43545 жыл бұрын
i live in germany and i paid around 10€ for taxes. i think the taxes dir you will be similar
@meggink91265 жыл бұрын
It can vary a lot but you should take the percentage of tax you pay over products into consideration. Its all not very clear but you will definetely have to pay that and probably more. In the Netherlands you pay 21% over most products (we call it BTW, you could maybe translate this if that helps for it to make more sense)
@mikk55405 жыл бұрын
I live in sweden and I’ve ordered from them twice. The second time I sent it as a gift to myself and didn’t have to pay any taxes on it. Maybe it works in Denmark as well. I don’t remember how much taxes I payed the first time but you should check the danish customs website for that.

I've shipped things from the US before, and it's been hit or miss with whether or not they apply taxes to it.
