i’m having top surgery in less than a week now and i have the same anxieties that you had going into this. thank you for alleviating some of these anxieties- it makes it easier to remind myself that i’m going to be okay.

For the first week of my recovery I've been having to take Gravol to help make me drowsy enough to sleep. It has helped me A LOT to get enough sleep lately 👌

Hey, congratulations on your surgery and recovery! It looks great from what I know about all of this (admittedly not a whole lot). It’s odd because recently it was my two year anniversary of being out as trans, but it seems all of the medical transitioning stuff is never going to happen, but with these things it just take time 🤷♂️. Soon you’re not even going to give your chest and all of that a second thought, it’ll just be apart of your routine, and that’s a wonderful thing. I’m sending all the good vibes to you and your loved ones (and to the person reading this). Keep your chin up ✊🏼

I just did this today, and where they took out my drains it’s a little swollen, is that normal?! Please, someone answer this lol.

Never mind, nice to know that you had some swelling too.

I wish we live in a society we're we didn't have to modify or alter ourselves to be comfortable in our own skin. Than again coming from someone who has tattoos I can understand how want wants to change certain attributes or enhance them. I see these behavior in birds were they plug paper strips and attach them to there tails to look more attractive. I guess we aren't the only species. Maybe in the future instead of surgery or needles will just have these machines were we can go In and come out the other end with different cosmetic changes as easy as 123 .

Quick question, does taking T makes skin colour darker?

Estrogen increases melanin production (can be used in the treatment of adding pigmentation to non pigmented skin). Though I don’t know about testosterone, if it did there would be a study/article that could explain it better 😁
