Oh wow Dade I been followin y'all for years now and I'm sorry you had a rough time. Surgery is such a serious thing. And aside from the physical aspects there's an emotional toll. You've been so strong and from what I understand you're basically past the last turn on the surgical strip and I'm happy you've gotten past the majority of the obstacles to be "complete" despite the mishaps. Best of luck to you.

Dade, you are doing well; that makes me happy. I'm glad you are able to smile. That was my salvation after cancer surgery and chemo when I used to laugh upon waking up "No body parts fell off during the night" was my one-liner. So, bro, you have made it and this will make you a much stronger person even to the point that you become grateful for the experience. Not yet maybe, but that will happen. Thanks, Dade, for sharing this with us. You are the awesome one, along with Tiff.

Soo glad that you have made it thru to the other side of this ordeal. You have been in my thoughts & prayers. Your strength & resilience (Tiff too) is astounding. Like I mentioned in my last post, I have delved into your transition in a weeks time from beginning to present. Not only have you changed physically but spiritually too. One can see and feel as the weeks/months/years went by, how much happier you became. You look great-handsome even but the most beautiful aspect is that within. I am proud of both you and Tiff in all that you have faced, the demons you have slayed and the admirable man you have become because of such.

Not kind. Only sharing my observations, you have walked many 'walks of fire' in the past 10yrs or so. But this journey is assuredly your 'vision quest' to be able stand up for the man you are is difficult for any person. But for a trans it is exponentially so. I am glad you loved yourself to do what must be done to be an authentic soul. You are from a very elite group of human beings who are closer to self-acctualization than most people. Wear it proud.

R Berg No. With meta you are restricted by genetics and how much the T makes your clot grow. It is then fashioned into a penis. Most people grow between 1and 2 inches. However, it functions normally and can become naturally erect, unlike phallo.

Having real male parts is so amazing. I feel for you. Sex as a FTM who has bottom surgery must be really frustrating. I mean the sensation is amazing. From orgasming and feeling the fluid pump through your penis is unimaginable for a female. You feel your prostate contract and your testicles feel so sensitive and provide so much stimulation
@ashtonmcmullen67998 жыл бұрын
JustinLodes female genitalia is just undeveloped male genitalia. so metoidioplasty actually allows for many of those sensations to be possible. sex is different for a trans man, sure. frustrating? nah. this was a sad attempt at insulting dade's genitalia and you don't have nearly the experience or research to say that FTM sex is frustrating and inferior to natal male sex.

I'm sorry for the complication, but I'm glad you still feel like you wouldn't change it for the world. I have fears of possible complications and pain, but I believe it will be worth it in the end. If the post-hysto pain felt like slowly giving birth to Rosemary's Baby (claws and all) over the course of 5 months (without epidural), then maybe I can handle a phalloplasty!

Skye ID Wow, I'm sorry you had such a bad hysto experience. I had no idea recovery for that could be so hard.

Neither did I... I really expected it to be not a big deal because of the stories I heard from trans guys who breezed through recovery. Then I talked to a few cis women who had hystos after having a couple of kids. One friend (and mother of 4) told me, "My hysterectomy was worse than my 2 c-sections!" I also thought the top surgery would be no big deal... but again I was wrong! Another "pain like giving birth" experience (with complications!) that resulted in 2 surgeries over the course of 5 months. I was told that it can take up to a year for my insurance to approve my phalloplasty. That's okay... it gives me a break from surgeries! My infamous "seize the day!" outlook on life made me rush into 3 surgeries in less than 1 year, because I thought "life's too short to wait around for my dreams to happen". Well, live and learn. I won't be in such a rush anymore when it comes to surgeries!
