I just completed this install and this video was fucking amazing in helping. A thing to note is that if you have the stock exhaust you definitely need to bolt off at least the left side and let it drop or take it off completely. Besides that, this video is spot on. I also personally tapped into the valenti brake light which you can find by finding the green brake light and following the connection to the red valenti wire. (make sure to test the brake lines as shown). it is a time consuming process but the look is amazing

is there a way to separate the triangle and bar? so that the bar is always on and the triangle just when you step on the brake? i know there were ways to do this on the non-sequential models but how about these ones?

This video makes it look deceptively easy - its alot more difficult then it looks. If you have OEM exhaust - I recommend unclipping the two plastic retainers at the bottom of the black end of the bumper to give you some more flex to reach in to undo the 2 10mm and the clips. Good luck if you live in the northeast - get ready for some rusty bolts and snapped plastic.

The static is great. I got mine 3 years ago now. All it does is strobe 5x and then stay solid on braking which is plenty unique. However, the control hub that this new version comes with seems like some good added value

Are you able to install these with Intec tail lights? Those also have a reverse light harness so I'm wondering if it'll all just plug and play nicely or if the wiring is insufficient.

Hey Guys I have a different sort a lights but the same set up is required with the wiring. The 3 pin harness you have is green, blue and black. Is the green wire you de-pinned the on the left or right with the locking clip at the top?

I purchased this product, there is no running light, only when you hit the brake and it flash, but not sure if there is a running light? Correct me if im wrong or right @FTspeed

That’s the issue I’m having but he claims it’s does I tried it tapped into running light wire and brake light wire. Brakes work for both but no reverse light ever comes on.

@@Brian-fm2lo they Aren’t suppose to stay on, that’s not a feature for sequential 4th brake light but you can do that with the smoke 4th brake light (non-sequential).

@@yettiman8941 I kinda of figured that out after a while of having them, but now my only complaint is that on their website it states the F1 brake light wire, but the ones I bought didn't even come with a red wire, and it also states that they have running parking lights in the item description, any other info or explaination would help tbh ( already emailed ftspeed also)

I just got this light from you guys but am curious how the whole sequential feature works to begin with. Does it happen when you press the break? Or is that only on when the hazards are on like in the video. Also does the V light stay on when the taillights are on as parking lights and then start flashing when you hit the break or does the whole light only come on when the break is pressed.

@@shehatesjacobb7843 Yeah i got it hooked up on my car. Unfortunately the V does not light up by itself and stay on as a running light. The light is solely a 4th break light and only comes on when your pushing your foot on the break. There may be a way to wire it differently but that would involve taking it apart which is way out of my league. So the sequential part and the whole light turns on when you press the break. If your not using the break the light isn't on at all. I currently have it wired it to my running light instead of the break light because i wanted it on all the time but i'm probably going to change it back to my break light so i can use the sequential feature. I have it on the solid light setting so it's not distracting since it's on whenever my lights are on.

Yes, I tapped in the factory tail light harness. The harness that plugs into the tail lights.

I have the v1s. I'm torn between the v1s and the v2s. I think they look different enough where one isn't better than the other. I think the new 4th brake light's control module adds some good value though. I still don't really want it. strobe is enough for me

Die Rückleuchten haben alle eine E-Prüfnummer also kannst du sie problemlos und eintragungsfrei montieren (du musst damit also nicht zum TÜV). Gruss aus der Schweiz und viel spass beim modden!
