I remember something sorta like that as a kid, 60 years back, I was never fond of them even though they had coconut on the top. But commercial chocolate cookies, with puffs of marshmallow covered in sweet milk cocolate simply could not be redeemed by a sprinkle of coconut. However, they are an interesting bar cookie, and would go over well with some people.

I would just rather have a cookie. I'm just not into the cookie bar thing myself.

@@thecookiejarKR yes, I love a good cookie, soft molasses with raisins and sometimes chopped nuts, my grandmothers sour cream cookies, gingersnaps. I make a lovely orange with mixed glace fruit cookie at Xmas, I also make persimmon cookies.

I have a huge persimmon tree in my front yard I never know what to do with...maybe I'll find a cookie recipe for them.
