"There is a curse on Tamriel. It goes like this: 'May you live in interesting times.' It is a curse, for this is the realm of the three-formed daedric Prince of Stories and Narratives, Fadga Mohpet. He, for oftentimes he takes male shapes, rules over the power of tales and narratives: it is he who writes the fate of the farm boy whose homestead was raided, destined now to heroism: it is he who both writes the princess being kidnapped by orcs, and saved by the prince: it is he who writes the manifesto of the rebellion in a peaceful kingdom of the Iliac Bay. Fadga Mohpet writes these stories and plucks the strings of fate as he sees fit: none knows if it is towards an end-goal, or simply on his own whim, but to be chosen by the Prince of Narratives is to have your fate changed and oftentimes always for the worse. The farmboy lost his parents, and now *must* become a hero. The princess is violated by her orcish captors and her rescuing prince loses a hand in the attempt. The rebellion is sparked by something insignifcant, and now a few hundred peasants are dead and a nobleman's family had their brains smashed in. Aye, the Prince of Stories likes the tale, but leaves the details to unwritten fate. The realm of Fadga Mohpet is called the Growing Dale, and it looks innocent at first: just a hillside with a town nearby. But the town is always in the distance, and the farmsteads you enter are empty: each door opened leads to a *different* farmstead, and the random Daedra that appear makes the journey perilous. If you manage to get out of the stead and back onto the open fields and roads, you would notice that the hillside is now a mountainside and the town in the distance has grown to a city. And on and on this goes, until, if you make the right choices, you reach the heart of his domain: the faraway city of spires and light."

You could do a Fallout podcast “mini-series”, maybe 20 episodes covering the lore in anticipation of the show (which you could also cover)...on the retcon question...I’m a little ambivalent about non-essential characters returning...I mean you assassinate Neloth in Morrowind (or you can as part of the Mage’s Guild I think) and he returns in Skyrim, a few other non-essential characters return too... Also for the Elder Scrolls show, I’d actually prefer it to be live action if they have a huge budget...an animated show could be cool too, but I personally think video game adaptions can work in live action as well...hopefully the Fallout show is good too

*WARNING - QUITE LONG* I have created my take of your Daedric realms and spheres based off of your conversation. I did my best with what I had (sometimes you didn't make it easy, so I creatively expanded upon your Prince with my interpretation of your discussion), and tried to give a nice contrast within your spheres that you might see with other canonical Princes....or maybe not. idk what I'm talking about lol. Just a bit of fun. Apologies if it reads like I'm rambling. Your Prince's names are your own to decide. You are welcome to enjoy and claim these Princes with complete creative liberty, if you ever see this! Happy 1yr anniversary! Scott: Daedric Prince of Imagination, hallucination, legend and myth, will/conviction, and narcotics. Patron of authors, storytellers, bards, liars, artists, inventors, charlatans, kings, addicts, and children. His Realm of Creatia is a place of perpetual distortion, as the very laws of reality are bent and folded at the whims of the those privileged to reside there. Like clockwork, however, the realm of Creatia is reset to its twin lands of flood and flame by its one true Master; a time when the Dreaming God rests before resuming His meditation to escape creation itself. The God tormented by His dream of becoming The Dreamer himself. Michael: Daedric Prince of Euphoria, the Lost Uptopia, civilization, longevity, perfection, natural beauty, and natural disaster (fun twist on the nature theme of you described). Patron of artists, activists, idealists, prophets(¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ), royalty, narcissists, and tyrants. His realm of High Providence can often first be mistaken as Nirn itself, yet the beauty found here is unimaginable. Those who find themselves walking its fields, scaling its mountains, and surfing its waters are left speechless, their voices taken from them, for the Silent Star does not wish to desecrate the beauty of His realm with the futility of words. Those who enter this realm become violently repulsed at the idea of leaving High Providence to return to a lesser, ugly realm. Acolytes of The Great Architect who prove their right to be called beautiful are given a special place by His side; those who cannot prove their beauty are erased in all forms, even the audacity to have ever sought an audience with Him. Yet, if this Prince becomes disillusioned with ONE particle of His domain, this perfectionist is compelled to purge His entire realm with apocalyptic apathy, only then to rebuild His paradise from the smoldering ashes of His perfect world. Drew (I don't mean to be savage lol): Daedric Prince of Seclusion, irrelevance, memory, reflection, indifference, self-discovery, and identity. Patron of wanderers, adventurers, sellswords, the estranged, the lonely, the forgotten, heros (reference to the Hero's journey), farmers, and Sigmas. This Prince runs his innumerable pocket realms that manifest as a franchise of taverns, known as The Golden Fields Inn, which travel across all Mundus and between all realms of Oblivion where they are needed. Whether upside down in a forgotten crag of Coldharbour or balancing on stilts above the very peak of the Throat of the World, all who knowingly or unknowingly desire respite might be surprised to find a lonely tavern conveniently placed along their path. These taverns provide endless drink, food, and rest; warm beds, revelry, entertainment, gambling, trading, solitude, quiet, conversation, storytelling, love, lust, and anything else a wary patron could imagine, perfectly catering theirs specific needs. The Prince employs both mortal and immortal staff, and partakes in revelry alongside his patrons from time to time, but will most likely be seen (if he is even seen at all) behind the counter serving as the primary barkeep. He greatly enjoys hearing about the lives and hardships of his various patrons while serving them drinks, sweeping, or cleaning dishes. Some tell him tales of adventure, some of their heroic deeds, some of tragedy, some of comedy. He hears rumor and gossip and provides rumor and gossip in return. He allows them to vent their anger and sorrows; He is even known to offer advice to the sorry souls who He lends His ear. Those who once entered feeling lost, afraid, alone or forgotten leave the Inn feeling empowered and restored. Yet the longer a patron stays in His taverns, the more dependent they are of His taverns to keep them alive, as their very souls slowly become bound to the realm. Some scholars believe that this act of heart-letting allows the Daedric Prince to live a different life through the stories of his patrons, a life outside His taverns, in which He might be confined. Yet none have ever seen the fabled Golden Field from where the taverns got their names, in which is said to reside the Prince's own hearth; a pocket realm for the Prince alone to rest and to till the soil which bears His power. Not concerned with the destruction, domination or worship of mortal kind, this Prince is widely considered to be one of the most peaceful or carefree of all the Daedric Lords, if not beneficial (in moderation, of course). However, one uncited source claims to have heard the Mad God himself whisper of the Prince's true power, forgotten beneath the soil of which He tills. Strength that even scares the other Princes, if His true power were to be realized by himself, the ancient chains that keep him bound inside his own contentment would be undone, and the Gluttonous nature of his realm unstoppable.

About the question on "the Prisoner", i think that the Prisoner has sort of become a canonized part of TES, it's not a divine thing or a kalpa thing, the prisoner is just the folk understanding of a man literally freed from his past who becomes a great adventurer and hero, much like the traditional Nordic archetype of the Dragonborn, except the Prisoner seems to go beyond any particular culture In a way it is a cosmic concept because it always happens, but i think it always happens because the people of Tamriel believe in unnamed and faceless heroes, and on a meta level it happens because we believe we are always starting as a Prisoner

I personally love tangents in some of your videos. At points, tangents can sometimes come off as auto plagerism, when something mentioned in many lore videos gets a big time chunk in a new one. There are some that I just love to no end though, such as the sea elves being the true aldmer stock.

I'm sure that Moonshadow having "so much beauty that it renders one half-blind" applies specifically to mortals who visit there, not to the souls of her deceased worshippers or the lesser daedra inhabiting the realm.

"Farming is interesting and England is beautiful" That exemplifies all I want for my Daedric Realm. I just want to grill and chill in my property, not worry about the complexities of urban life.
