In this video we will show you how to remove and replace fuel inject and fuel rail on Mazda CX-7 CX7, Mazdaspeed 3 and Mazdaspeed 6 with 2.3 turbo engine. We demonstrated how to remove and replace fuel injector on Mazda CX-7 but it will be the same procedure to to replace the fuel injectors on Mazda Speed 3 and 6 with 2.3 turbo engine since they share the same engine.

I ONLY loosen and slide the top power steering pump bolt, letting it remain, and tilt the Power Steering pump to the LEFT to remove the end intake bolt, that is behind the power steering pump. Then, with a pry bar, tilt the pump about an inch to the left. No spilled power steering oil this way. I leave the serpentine belt in place.

Hey guys thanks so much for the video. I have a 08 speed three. I was freaked out I didn't want to break anything. Lol anyway I'm rebuilding the engine and getting a long block back and reassembling all bolt ons and adding a turbo and the flywheel and clutch and timing chain and all kinds of other fun stuff. Question my friend i have 2010 mazda cx7 2.3 and i have a misfire on cilinder 1 so i replace the spark plugs, coils but still misfire so i replace the injectors but now my car don't start after i replce new injectors i take in part and re in installed to see maybe i leave anything unplug but everything was connected good byt the car still dont start i test the fuel pumb and it work do you think thay give me the wrong injectors or do you have any idea? I wouldn’t pry against the cylinder head like that you can damage the mating surface for the intake manifold and cause a leak

Go ask your dealer how much the injectors are . Aftermarket injectors are big risk since they might not work

30 amp fuel pump relay would do that. underhood by battery under black lid. key is on the lid w removal tool.

If they are dirty it'll rough idle misfire and stall even if it's one cylinder

Do you have any way to contact you ?? I have a problem with my cx7 2007 the scanners keep on telling me the circuit 1 and 4 from the fuel injector are bad . But the code only comes up when you drive it the acceleration is pretty bad . Do you have any advise ? Thank you in advance

Blue smoke is a sign of bad head gasket but a constant open injector will cause a misfire

@World Mechanics My MAZDA CX7 2.3L turbo gives code P0304 only at cold start. Car has 2k rpm at cold start, it fluctuates between 1.5 to 2k for first 2-3 min of start up and then settles down at 1k rpm after which car runs smooth. Overall, if I keep engine running idle in the morning for 3-4 min until rpm settles, then no problem happens and car runs smooth all day. I only get problem at cold start in the morning and if the engine is heated up, then no engine misfire happens. I have changed the spark plugs, ignition coils and throttle body as well but no improvement. Any ideas what could be wrong?

You should clean your intake valves, and add a good quality fuel system cleaner to your gas , probably are clogged with carbon a doesnt let enough air pass. This is the most common fix for Gdi engines with misfiring at cold start.
