Fuel Line install on 2014 Hyundai veloster Turbo

Hey man can I ask what veloster you have and what were the symptoms before you replaced it?, I have a 2014 turbo with 50000kms and when I accelerate hard it splutters/makes a ticking/tapping noise and i lose power. thanks lmk!

Literally every shop I’ve taken mine to will not install it or touch it, I don’t get why it’s so hard. If I had a jack and a space to work on it I would do it myself.

after 6 months of owning my veloster turbo i finally figured out this is what's been causing all the goofy issues i'm having, what makes me sad is that everyone online recommended sxth element fuel line and I see that they no longer even offer it on their website. all the other options are more expensive for just a piece of fuel line :(

@KDMTUNERS by any chance you have done a fuel pump replacement? Replacing the stock pump to one that is E85 compatible. BTW what is the size of the line?

I did the install myself in just a few hours. It wasn't too bad at all. Any air in the lines will just be removed once you get the car started. Just be sure to prime the pump a bunch by turning the key on and off like 10 times before you crank it over. This will get fuel pumped into the lines. You'll hear the pump kick on a few seconds each time you turn the key on, but don't start.@@albertohart5334

I’m pretty sure mine has a fuel filter on the stock line. Does the braided line have one too ?

the only filter it should have is on the fuel pump itself. if it's got one on the line then someone's added a filter for some reason.
