i only replaced the fuel pump, and all the holes are original its the same size

@@wangyuautocare i think hole was made bigger in the past to avoid dropping tank, I have an 07 mazda3 that fuel pump wont fit at all thru original hole under seat, its only to access the plug 👎 sucks

Maybe you bought a non compatible fuel pump

@@wangyuautocare original fuel pump won't come out thru that hole, I'm suppose to drop tank , I'll have to make that hole as big as that one you replaced on this video

Tug the front of the seet where the lower end of the cushion slopes down

The original did not have return line where did you connect the return line from which got connected to fuel pump

Not all Mazda 3's have a fuel filter and only have a sock on the fuel pump to filter. If there is a filter it would be on the passenger side by the rear wheel, under a cover.

yes sir simple lng magpalit ng fuel pump, marami na ko napalitan ng fuel pump,hndi ko lng na videohan kung gxto nio po magpa maintain ng auto, may shop ako sir dto sa Pangasinan

Don't do this !!! Cutting the steel panel will completely invalidate your car insurance if you're in a bad accident. The police examine all aspects of a car at the scene and file a report. Even incorrect tyre pressures can invalidate your insurance. If you've already cut this panel, you must inform your insurers to renegotiate your policy. This panel was deliberately designed not to let the fuel pump through and for rigidity for handling and in an accident. If you've already cut this panel, inform your insurers or you're completely wasting your money on insurance because they won't pay out, plus you will be fined for driving without insurance, not to mention the danger to rear seat passengers in the event of an accident. They left the hole small for a reason !!

A previous owner of this car cut the access hole MUCH larger to get to the fuel pump. Without this large hole, you must drop the fuel tank to change the pump (as the service manual instructs).
