Wow!! Thank you very much. My '96 is currently no crank, no start. One issue could be the fuel pump & related components such as the fp relay. It would 'very taken a long time to figure out that vent panel hid 3 nuts!! And also the screws behind the end panel. This will be a great help if I need to check the relay.

Hey Mike, I have a 1990 with a L98 engine and believe yours maybe the same. When looking at my shop manual for 90. It shows the #2 fuel pump relay under the dash on the L/H side. I was looking for the speaker relay due to a pop when I turn it on. Had the Amps rebuilt, and it sounds great. #7 relay is the one I was looking for, and #8 is #2 fuel relay. It's all the way to the right last relay under the driver's side. I look in my Haynes book 84-96 but didn't show location. Would be a bummer to go through the hassle just to find out it's not on the passenger side. GOOD Luck Sir.

Great video. I’ve shared this with quite a few people on how to access the relays. What were your symptoms when the fuel pump relay went out? Were you able to start your car or did it only crank? I have a no start/crank issue. I am trying to determine if it’s fuel pump or relay related.

Hey bud I just replaced my fuel pump I have a 94, having the same issue with it not wanting to crank, ran good after replacement then letting it idle it shut off after 10 mins. Thinking it could be relay

My '96 is also no crank & no start. I'm just starting to look at the fuel system. Did you notice if the high beam indicator light on the dash was flickering?

I can hear my fuel pump kicking on but the vehicle has shut off twice before putting a new fuel filter on now it wont even start. Could the relay be the issue?

Nathan O'Hare it was tough... I had to use a flat head screw driver to slightly loosen them from the base.

I was having issues with it not turning over about once every 20 starts... it ended up not solving the issue but it was still worth making the video in case someone else needed to see how to do it.

Hey, is this the same location for ignition relay? Did you happen to take a pic of the inside of cover? I assume that is whee the descriptions of relays are? Having a problem with ignition power quitting intermittently, very strange. Thanks.
