There is 2 wires to be connected back to the fuel pump (Brown & Purple) which wire is the Positive wire and the Negative? Can you inform which wire is the Positive wire on the Fuel Level sending unit?

Is there a certain order u put the two wires or can they just be put on in any of the two spots

Maybe I missed it, you did not mentioned to DISCHARGE the static electricity within you by touching any metal part from the car prior to removing parts from the fuel tank.

No special tools needed, just screw driver, flat and star, and a no 10 socket to take out nuts around pump cover. DO! empty your tank first. Less messy. Be careful with 2 clips holding fuel pump, onthou break them. You have to twist and jiggle the assembly out. Make sure you mark out and return fuel pipes when you remove them, if you swoop them you're not going anywhere, and also mark electrical wires.

hi, I am looking to buy a new fuel pump, issue here is that there are 2 models: 16141181354 and 16147161387. What is the difference between these 2, are they the same? btw, second one is cheaper.

No, just drain about 10litre / 2 gallons to prevent fuel spill.

If it is full, take out at least 10 litre/ 2 gallons otherwise you will have fuel everywhere.

I read, fuel pump should be replaced in every 100k miles! Looks like mine lasted 165k! LOL!
