I consider "Fuel" one of the most underrated rock bands in history. They definitely deserved a lot more recognition than they have to date. "Shimmer", for example, is without a doubt one of the best songs of the entire post-grunge era.

Try a slightly abrasive toothpaste. Rub in circles from middle to the edges. Rinse well. Dry with a microfiber cloth. If that doesn't totally work run a light film of Vaseline on it. Then burn a copy immediately. I've done it it works. 😊😊 Good luck🍀🍀

@frankyjas5184

Probably. But the reason why I feel the 90’s were special was because it was the last decade before technology and social media ruined so much shit. It was the last time where people actually hung out with each other. Not fucking glued to their god damn phone all the time. It was the last decade where parks were filled with people playing basketball. Kids riding around in their bikes. And so much more. That simply doesn’t exist anymore. That’s why the 90’s are so special.

I won't lie, this is one of the few songs I cry to. I remember clicking with this one instantly the first time I heard it. Something about this song reminds me of hard times and makes me grateful I had music like this to connect with and get me through. Sometimes life is hard and love is really painful. That's what makes it life, and I'm glad music is there to pick me up in those hard times. To Fuel, thanks for this gem-- your work does not go unappreciated.

I was literally in HS when this song came out, became popular, and somehow faded behind other bands songs that had a more mainstream or catchy vibe. But it's lasted, and stood the test of time. The essence alone of this track encompasses the 90's better than any other song. A great time, and one we all miss. 9/11 changed our generation, and not for the better. It stole our innocence, our future, and our hearts.

True story, and I'm sure Fuel will never see it, but...me and my best friend were 12/13 and waited outside for HOURS to meet them in freezing rain at the 96x Fest in Memphis, TN. I'm 38 now, so this was decades ago. I don't think we met them until 2 or 3 in the morning, but they were so kind, polite, and apologetic that we had stood in the rain for so long. They gave us hugs, photos, autographs, and stickers. I know my friend had a poster they signed. It was one of those moments that erased the unpleasantness of the evening and made the night worth it. They were such nice guys. Thank you, especially, to Jeff, who made sure we had everything we needed to get home okay and safe. I know my best friend was buzzing for months, because she had met her all time crush. I'll never forget it.

I have to try very hard not to sing along out loud when I hear it, no matter where I am and regardless of how much my thin voice cannot even BEGIN to match Brett Scallions. My Mom and Dad used to sing this to me when they were pregnant with me. I remember from a young age always loving this song. I still to this day get chills from this song when I hear it. Now I’ve grown, and finally understand how minuscule my wants were as a child, and how as an adult now I’m struggling to keep up with the bare necessities still pining for a life not driven by how much money you have. The bridge is no longer a song for my parents to sing to me as a baby, it’s now grown to be my cry for validation from all the death and heartache.
