One of my biggest pet peeves is how truckers tailgate other truckers. They make it hard for people to exit or merge into the left lane. How am I supposed to merge when you make it impossible for me? One trucker had the audacity to honk at me when I cut him off because of that very reason! Not every trucker does this but it has become a normal occurrence. Go into the 710 freeway any time of the day and you'll see what I'm talking about.
@1point3ie992 ай бұрын
Then you must be the talking about yourself if you can’t see how the driver of the car was at fault. There’s no way that car lodged underneath the car could have done that without speeding well past the speed limit.
@juliogonzo27182 ай бұрын
@1point3ie99 in the description it says the truck driver blacked out and woke up in the wreck. Truck Driver probably fell asleep. He's probably going to jail unless he can prove it was medical. I highly doubt the car lodged itself under the truck, the truck likely rolled over onto the car
@1point3ie992 ай бұрын
@@juliogonzo2718 there’s no sign of the truck making a perfect barrel roll on top of that car. If that was the case, the passenger side would look like a pancake. And the fuel tank on the driver side of the semi would be smashed in. The description isn’t stating any facts. That driver was trying to beat that trucker at the 105 East merge to the 110 north by the looks of it. And he looks like he was well over the speed limit to be that far. Under the semi. On the maps you can see the accident happens exactly at that merge.

THey said it was jet fuel later in the description. If it had been 100 av gas the FD woulda been freaking out. Flammable vs combustible
@philsmidwestclassiccars1502 ай бұрын
Jet Fuel is usually cheaper than regular auto gas. Avg price for aviation fuel is about $116.00 a barrel but the price fluctuates on the market as it is a commodity. There are 42 US Gals. in a US Oil Barrel, so $116/42 Gals = $2.76 per Gal.
@maestrovso2 ай бұрын
@@philsmidwestclassiccars150 Avgas 100LL is not jet fuel. Jet fuel is basically diesel and kerosine mix. Avgas is low lead aviation for ICE (as piston) engines that are NA or turbocharged. Avgas is closer to premium (as in high octane) low lead gasoline for cars before it was phased out. BTW, all fuels are commodity by market economy and commerce and industry.

The car is directly undeath the semi, I doubt the truck did a barrel roll into the car, from the looks of it. Only way that could have happened is the trucker was driving below the speed limit which “55” which is slow enough already on the freeway, and that car was going insanely fast to end up both drive axles. That car must of been going so fast he tried merging beating the truck, but ended up underneath not only picking up the semi and dragging it across the freeway, but popped the kingpin off the fifth, detaching the tanker. Look at the end of the tanker to where the semi and car ended up.
