This new ECU would be an game changer for many turners. But this is the tip of the iceberg from what it can do, and for example, the video recorder capabilities and the hybridization and electrification functions can easily prepare old cars into the future.

It will be a game changer for sure. But probably not for tuners, most people who buy these high end ECUs are race teams that do their own tuning. As a tuner, I dont think you will see these as much as you think. But time will tell.

Since you can control the car settings from the laptop, is it possible to operate the electronic devices [fly-by-wire throttle and electronic steering] through the touchpad/keyboard of the laptop whenever you are in front of the car? 🤔 Bcs nowaday you need two people - one inside and one outside - to check if those components are working right. We are currently developing a FT550 to FT700 adapter harness. It is also possible to pin the FT550 connector to a FT700 connector replacing just the main connectors housing, since the terminals are the same!

I have been waiting on the 700 plus but I recently bought the FT600 during your last sale because I was tired of waiting. Of course you would release the 700 two months later.
