Of course they’re all Police Officers. There are municipal (city) officers, then the Sheriffs Office which covers the entire county - not just a single city - they are Deputies. Last but not least are the State Troopers. Troopers of course go state wide not just city or county.

I’m not from US and I can’t understand few things... are these guys real Police ? Those Sheriff badges are not looking like Sheriff’s Departments badges to me and second, if they are innocent till proven guilty why are going after suspect with they weapons withdraw ?

These are licensed sworn law enforcement officers and have full police powers. They generally act as officers or agents of the criminal or civil courts. Any time there is a risk of attack, weapons are drawn as long as there is a risk of violence on the property. The guy has an arrest warrant for domestic battery so his capacity for violence has already been established

@@houseofno Thanks for making this clear for me, mate! Seeing police officers with weapons drawn looks a bit odd to me unless there is an imediate danger. But after I saw loads of videos of USA police interactions I can see now why this is happening. No offence but in USA are too many guns on the streets and this makes police work a very dangerous job. Respect for them!

Depends on how the warrant is issued. Fugitive recovery agents only recover when the bail bonds company is involved and the fugitive skipped bail. But if you have a situation like you’ve identified someone from a previous crime and the judge issued a warrant for his arrest, fugitive recovery agents don’t get involved with that. It’s the police’s job to take that person into custody
